Hello Im a 25 year old female hoping to get a nose job in September. I live in Belgium and was thinking about getting the procedure done in Belgium or flying to turkey. I have found expert surgeons in both countries. The surgeon in turkey has ample ethnic rhinoplasty experience but Im a bit worried about follow-up, possible complications and so forth. Getting the nose job done in Belgium means Im closer to my surgeon but Im not too sure about his experience with ethnic nose jobs ( I asked his clinic and didnt get a straight forward answer). My question is do I go to Turkey for the experience or stay in Belgium? Can an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon with little or no experience with ethnic nose operate on an ethnic nose? Please help me. Thank you
My nose is crooked, my nostrils are pretty even. The only issue is that one side of my nose is higher than the other. The left side of my nose is 1/8 of an inch lower than the right side. My mom thinks I can pull the right side of my nose down and sort of stretch it like people that stretch their earlobes, I'm not sure if that's a viable solution though.
Hi, I previously had a septal perforation and underwent three surgeries to repair it. My most recent procedure successfully closed the hole, but I noticed a change in the shape of my nose afterward. Ive never had a rhinoplastyI only had the perforation addressed and a turbinate reduction done by an ENT. Im hoping to avoid a rhinoplasty if possible, as I really liked my natural nose before. Could the change in shape be due to scar tissue or a possible deviation in my septum? And if so, is it something that might be improved with a steroid injection rather than surgery?
interested in perhaps getting a subtle nose job, feel like I have quite a straight nose would perhaps like it to be slightly more feminine with a bit of a curve and perhaps thinner at the front. Wondering if this would boots my appearance. Not too keen on my hairline either so wondering if you think I might look better with a forehead reduction too? Im aware my jaw is quite small, but had braces and as far as I can judge dont know if anything would be required there. Dont have to look perfect just wondering how I could give myself and appearance a boots. Thanks in advance!
28 F (5ft, 100 lbs) in search of advice and recommendations for a rhinoplasty. I have always hated my nose, especially the wide/boxy tip. I don't want to end up with an obvious nose job/ pinched tip look and am searching for something that better suits my face overall. I also considering procedures for my lower face. I have always had big cheeks. I feel like it makes my face look bulky at the bottom. I've thought about buccal fat removal, but don't want to age faster and lose that youthful look. I really am just searching for facial balancing. I'm not sure what to look for in terms of a surgeon and what to specifically ask for. I'd love to hear any and all recommendations that you may have. I appreciate the help!
My nose is large, crooked, and harsh, particularly with harsh nostrils, and has a cleft that makes it look like a butt. I don't want an upturned nose, in fact, I would like no change to how it hangs, closeness to my lips, etc. I would just like for it to not be so fat, my nostrils to not be so harsh (probably this will be helped when I get fat transfer, already sure I need that for my empty face), and to get rid of the cleft. It would be nice if I could fix how crooked it is, but if that makes the surgery much more complicated, it's not as important. Would also like to get rid of the bump on the bridge, but, again, this isn't super important.
My nose has always looked out of place on my face. It seems too big. From research and laymans knowledge I think its my bridge and tip that cause this. I was hoping liquid rhinoplasty might help. Could liquid rhinoplasty help or is traditional the only option?
My side profile has always been an insecurity of mine. I had a plastic surgeon tell me that I wouldnt see a benefit from a rhinoplasty. But I would like a second opinion before scheduling another consult with a different surgeon. Would I be a good candidate?
Hi all, I injured my nose on Feb 11 of this year. It was very swollen with a large bump upon injury, the bump has gone down a LOT but its still there now. I consulted a great plastic surgeon, but he said Im not a candidate for rhinoplasty because theres not really a deformity to note and the risks outweigh any possible benefit. The bump is only really visible in certain lighting, but I miss my old nose (pic included) :( any suggestions guys?
