I got a primary rhinoplasty done 3.5 months ago. My dorsal hump was resected and used as a columnar strut. There is still some swelling in the supratip region. Is my nose tip rotated too upwards? Im worried that it looks unnatural and looks obvious that I had surgery. Doctor told me that the tip might drop 1-2mm in the first month, but till now it hasnt dropped. I have thick oily skin, will the tip drop gradually with time? Also, how long after surgery can I get filler in the tip region?
I am 3 months post op. Ive realized that when I laugh or smile hard my the sides of my nose scrunch up while my columella remains in place and it gives off a witchy vibe. This did not happen to me before and now I have bunny lines when I laugh. Interestingly, the side of my nose that is less swollen scrunches up even more, creating unevenness. So is there hope of this issue resolving or not?
When the cast was removed my nose was still swollen and it was perfectly curved just how I wanted it to look. As weeks and months have passed the swelling on my nose has diminished tremendously and there is now an obvious hard lump where the bone was shaved off. Im very concerned and know it is still early on, but I haven't noticed this bump going down at all, feels hard as a bone. It just keeps getting more noticeable! Please any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Hi, I had rhinoplasty surgery 3 months ago. Even though my doctor says that I have thick and oily skin, and therefore my nose is gonna keep getting smaller, I just can't believe that it's gonna be like I imagined. You can see my before picture, my biggest concern was my nose tip before the surgery. I know that it is not as low as before (forgive my English at this point please) but it is still big for me. Do you think that it will get smaller within more time, give me our honest opinions pls
Hello everyone, I am a travel nurse that will have to get fit tested for a N95 mask. Currently, I am 3 months post op and I continue to have a hard tip (I will be getting a shot in my nose in January). That being said, will wearing the N95 mask for 10-15 minutes have a huge impact on nose?
I got both rhinoplasty and nasal septum deviation 3 months ago. After a month of surgery, I stopped tapping for a month. I had so much swelling and noticed that the tip moved a little to one side. The graft moved to left side. I had a bone big nose with a big cartilage tipe. My surgeon thinks that might another surgery be needed after a year due to movement of the graft at the nose tip The graft is hard and I can feel the gap as I touch my nose. Any specific massage or tapping?
I'm a big skier and pleased with my results after a septo-rhinoplasty that removes a dorsal hump, but know that Im still healing and i have thick skin. Wondering if I should postpone my ski trip which would be exactly at 3 months post surgery.
3 months ago I got an open rhinoplasty I was very content with the results but as the swelling started to go down I noticed a small grain like bump on my nose I consulted my surgeon and he gave me steroid shots but the bumps still hasnt gone away and it isnt soft like a callous can this bump get any bigger or could it reduce its size as the swelling comes down? Im very worried and confused
I am 3 months post op from open rhinoplasty where i had nasal tip refined and dorsal hump removed. Looking at my profile there is a sharp point at the tip. Also my nostrils are retracted and columella appears low. Will the point and other two issues resolve over time or not? I had a steroid shot a month ago for the swelling.
Hello, I have had rhinoplasty surgery 3 months ago. Back in my country (Iran), mostly in my tip, I leave in Canada and I was able to visit my surgeon just for the first 3 weeks. As you can see my nose is smaller but just a bit. I can not believe it is still too big even 3 months after surgery, I am really depressed. Honestly do you think that it will get smaller by time? I have no contact with my surgeon cause I had to back to Canada for my school. Thanks a lot for your help. Best regards
