Can you please recommend what procedures would help balance my side profile and make me look less tired. I am unable to breath properly through my nose so often have to mouth breath. I would like my face to look more balanced and to improve my side profile please
It's one year since I had my surgery and within the last week I am seeing a sudden sagging of skin, and eyes look sunken and tired. This change is drastic. I had a heavy nose which is what was reduced due to the rhinoplasty but this sudden change on the structure of my face is very disturbing. Please advise
People often tell me I look sad/tired/angry when my face is resting. My bottom lip sticks out A bit more than my upper lip. It's also fuller than my upper lip and it makes me look like I'm Upset. I also think the area under my lower lip is fleshier than most people. You can see the cast shadows a little in the frontal photo. My nose is also a little wide and bulbous at the tip. What procedures should I do to fix these things? Are they very extensive?
I had an open rhinoplasty on 2/9 with IV sedation. Recovery has gone pretty well physically, but I still have periods where I'm really tired during the day, and especially in the evenings. I think I've been getting enough sleep. (I'm also somewhat distracted while trying to do work, but maybe that's partly because I keep looking at my nose in the mirror to see if the swelling's going down!)
Hello Doctors, I've always been unhappy about my under eye circles and nose. I get comments all the time about how tired I look even AFTER I put concealor under my eyes which gets frustrating. I'm 26 but I think this ages me a few years. As far as my nose I don't think it looks too bad until I smile then I notice it is triangular and bulbous toward the mid-bottom area. What would be the best thing for these issues? I'll include a couple pics but they are a bit blurry, sorry about that. Thank you
I have a broken nose from about a year ago. I have occasionally been waking up and feeling very tired. About 10 years ago I did have surgery to fix a broken nose, and subjectively I felt my breathing improved from that surgery. The same Dr. quickly looked at my nose, and is suggesting a surgery. I wonder, how confident can he be without further study, that my broken nose is the cause of any breathing problems? I have a medical background, so you can be very techincal with your answers. Thanks!
I've mainly been in bed, and I force myself to eat and shower. A couple of days ago, my surgeon prescribed me antibiotics because I had a fever, and to also prevent infection. But is it normal to feel this weak and tired? I feel like I have a constant headache, and everything feels like a chore, including showering. I was told I'd feel better once my splint is off tomorrow, but the way I feel now, everything seems like an impossibility.
I had a rhinoseptoplasty 5 months ago, and since then, i get very tired and fatigued near the afternoon. I had some blood work done, and everything is fine. I should also mention i have ulcerative colitis. Will this improve with time? thank you
