I had rhinoplasty over six months ago but still have a scar where the incision was made. There's also a really tiny white piece of skin (it's like a dot) where it scabbed up. Will that go away on its own or should I be concerned?
I have gotten a rhinoplasty done 6 months ago. At first I noticed a red spot on the horn/side tip of my nose where the end of the cartilage graft is. I asked my surgeon and he said the cartilage will eventually round out and it will go away. Now its a very white spot. Was he being honest with me?
I had an open rhino in may 2018 to remove a hump and narrow the front and bridge. No tip work was supposed to be done.the tip looked good until a month ago when this light discolored patch appeared on the tip to the incision line. It is really worrying me and I amscared it can't be fixed. Due to asymmetrical upper bones my doctor told me in a year he would fix it.But I am now noticing a white rectangle patch under the tip to the incision line. Can someone tell me what this is. I am 8 months post op.
I've noticed that there is a white spot protruding on one side of my septum. I got rhinoplasty surgery in Korea early July of 2017 and am worried that this may be a excess cartilage of some sort? Would applying scar silicone gel help in this case or would I have to get it surgically removed/lasered?
I have been picking at my nose a lot because the stiches are very uncomfortable and I'm worried that picking at my stiches caused me to get an infection because I now have this white bumps on the inside of my nose they almost look like the white things you can get the in the back of your throat that smell. The white spots on my nose are not able to come off and aren't hard at the touch
I had open rhinoplasty 8 months ago. A white patch developed on my nostril at the incision going up to the bottom of the tip. It is slightly raised and has a red outline. I showed the Doctor he said it was normal from cartilage putting pressure on the skin I ask about it a few months later he said that it was probably there before the surgery and I never noticed it until now. I not happy at all with the results of the surgery. Do you think that it can be fixed with the revision or could it make it worse?
I got white spots on my sidewalls of my nose from too frequent steroid injections. I have asked this question before an every doctor said the loss of pigment will not improve? Is there seriously anything at all I can do to improve it?? Even a vitiligo topical? Anything ??? This will be very disappointing
