Initially, I asked for a smaller more feminine nose with a slope and tip pointing upwards. I did not receive that. It has almost been two years since my open revision rhinoplasty. I am dissatisfied with my nose. I am looking for a revision specialist in either the Bay Area or Los Angeles who can listen to my concerns and work with me to achieve what I want.
The reason why Im not satisfied is that the doctor didn't seem to follow the nose that I want to have, I want my nose to be narrower and thinner since I have a big thick nose but maybe its too early? because I just got mine done about 3 weeks ago tho I think only minor has been changed. My nose basically looks like it gone through a rhino but not in a good way, The bridge is too high and my tip of the nose is still wide even the sides of my nose which is my main concern.
I've had the cast off within the last week. yes the small dorsal hump on my nose has been removed but the size of the nose has not decreased nor is there a curve/slope like my surgeon said there would be. i am devastated. In your medical opinion does there look like there is swelling in my nose? will my nose change over time? is it likely or unlikely that a curve/slope will appear?? please help
I had a nose job done a month ago. I thought I was going to the best because he is chief of plastic surgery at a hospital, but I was wrong! He says that my skin was thin & my tip cartilage was so screwed up, thats why my pre-nose was very boxy. Now my nose is going back to the exact nose I had. I dont get i? He told me that if I wanted it fixed he would have to put more stitches in there, but he'd need to open me up again! He says my nose was so bad that this is the best I can get? What can I do?
