Hello, Does juvaderm and other HA fillers around the nose need to be dissolved before rhinoplasty surgery? Ive recently had filler injected under eye, cheek and nasiolabial fold area and plan to undergo rhinoplasty within the next 6 months. Thanks!
I will be undergoing septorhinoplasty because of also slightly croked bridge of the nose to the side and probably drooping columella. Unfortunatly I have full lips and short philtrum, wchich causes chin to philtrum ratio of 3:1 and midface ratio of 1:1,1 and nasolabial angle of less than 90 facial convexity of 180* . I'm afraid that putting incisors more outwards as they should be will cause philtrum to be even shorter and upper lip fuller. What should be done to improve looks of my face.
Ive had septorhinoplasty 3 months ago. My nose was deprojected, hump removed. Now I have a horizontal line under the nose when I smile, its just skin folding its not because of graft. Also, red part of my upper lip is smaller which can be seen from side view. Its more droopy Also when I smile, it doesnt flatten (from side view) as before. Before procedure, I remember I had prominent bone at the base of the nose under columella. Its completely removed. What could cause all these changes?
I have a tip deprojection septo-rhinoplasty on the horizon & I am also going to request a tip rotation to bring my nasolabial angle within the normal male range of 90-95 degrees (currently 87). I also have a bit of a flat, elongated maxilla I believe was caused by mouthbreathing due to my deviated septum. I was considering getting a custom midface + infraorbital combination implant but I'm worried this might change the overall look after the rhino or bring things out of proportion.
The shape of my nostrils are also slightly uneven. Ive never had any sort of nasal trauma. Im not knowledgeable about facial aesthetics so I am also wondering if my nose bridge is slightly bent or crooked based on the pictures. Also, my nasolabial folds are not symmetrical, this is most noticeable when I smile.
I want to know how I can make my nasolabial angle more obtuse and attractive. While researching, I realized it's not just the angle, but it has to be something underneath at the base of the nose that is different. After looking this up, I saw a two types of surgeries on google images... a premaxillary augmentation, and a paranasal augmentation. Could someone tell me how this could augment my philtrum and increase my nasolabial angle? Are there even any surgeons who perform this?
