I know that stomach acid can dissolve things so I was wondering if puking every once in a while when sick causes harm as some stomach acid ends up coming up through nose? I mean there's nothing you can do about it I suppose but wondering either way and maybe there's some way to mitigate damage if it does happen...? Just wanting to protect the investment! Thanks for any advice.
Hi. I felt sick and threw up at one point 8 weeks post rhinoplasty and again the other day (I am 10 weeks and few days now post rhinoplasty) and I would just like to ask if that could in any way ruin or alter the surgery results? It wasn't violent vomiting, just an irritation and I made sure I was hydrated afterwards. Thank you in advance for your help.
I had a sinus and septoplasty surgery 3 years ago but it didn't work. I'm thinking to redo it with rhinoplasty . I didn't feel anything in my first surgery but im worried if i may vomit when i wake up in my second surgery. Could it happen ? (sorry for my bad english)
I had my cousins wedding The night didn't end well for me I didn't control my drinking and ended up vomiting about 5 times once I got home my stomach hasn't been right for 4 days does this have a effect of my nose?
I have emetophobia, which means I'm terrified of all things pertaining to vomit. I have wanted a rhinoplasty for years since breaking my nose as a child, but I'm too afraid of the possibility I'd be ill afterwards.
I am planning on rhinoplasty in the next several months (I am still going through consultations and whatnot) and I have one concern... If the painkillers were to make me sick, would throwing up alter my nose job? Gross, but if it comes through the nose and all... Would it make it crooked all over again? And also, just for preventative purposes, how is something like this preventable?
It's 12 Days After my Rhinoplasty and Two Days Ago I Developed Severe Nausea Which has caused severe vomiting in the last 2 days. I can feel the blood rushing and pressure build up in my nose as soon as I 'have to go'. I'm scared yhis may distort the final outcome of the rhinoplasty. Is this possible?
