Is a tip rhinoplasty w/ minor shaving and straightening possible using local anesthesia and oral sedation? Ive had an Otoplasty under local only and did well, and I really want to do my rhino this way, but finding a Dr to do this has been difficult. Can any improvements be made to my tip with this approach? Even if it is minor? Thank you
I have an asymmetrical nose, my nose bends to the left. As a result my nose doesnt appear to have a huge hump from my left profile but it is very noticeable from the right profile. it can be seen from the front too. Is it possible to slightly shave down the left side of my nose for my nose to appear more symmetrical? Would like to preserve the original shape of my nose, but just better. With minor changes. I do not mind keeping a slight hump for natural results.
Hello Doct! I have done my nose surgery before 5 months and i have a little bump on it, my doctor said to me that he is going to shaved the bump for 5minutes and then the bump will desepear! I want to know does it hurt ore does it have problems with it after like blood,pain,etc... I am very confused i dont know how to do with it! To do or not to do!
When the cast was removed my nose was still swollen and it was perfectly curved just how I wanted it to look. As weeks and months have passed the swelling on my nose has diminished tremendously and there is now an obvious hard lump where the bone was shaved off. Im very concerned and know it is still early on, but I haven't noticed this bump going down at all, feels hard as a bone. It just keeps getting more noticeable! Please any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
8 months post-op I have a dent at the bridge of my nose where the bump was shaved down. It is visible to the eye. I also still have a slight bump on the side of the bridge. Surgeon has told me this occurred post op when we were trying to fix an issue with the cartilage moving out of place through massaging. They have agreed to fix it using a closed approach by shaving down the residual bump and using the bone dust to fill the dent at the bridge. Will this work?
Does it look flatter? Wider? Is there less definition around the nose bridge? I have a straight, bulbous nose and because of this my nose often looks really swollen and sticks out. Will shaving down the nose bridge to create a slope make my nose look softer and more subtle from the front as well?
So I dont know how I got this weird nose hump since no one in my family has it and I havent ever broken my nose. Its only one one side of my nose and you can very clearly see it when I turn my head by 45 degrees. I love my nose but its just that hump that I hate. Another thing I would add is it that the hump isnt hard- it goes down when u press on it then comes back up in a few minutes. I guess its cartilage. Can I get a microrhinoplasty just to make the hump a bit more straight?
