I had a rhinoplasty outside the US about 6 months ago. Im concerned with the fullness in my supra tip area. It feels firm at this point so Im concerned that this is my final profile. I have a follow up scheduled with a US surgeon in two months, but in the meantime Im trying not to completely panic. Does this look/seem like something kenalog could resolve, or should I prepare for needing a revision? Any advice would be appreciated. Im having a really hard time.
I had a rhinoplasty procedure 30 months ago. The main purpose of the surgery was to reestablish the structure of the nasal bones which had been damaged by a severe blow to the face when I was wearing glasses ie the area damaged corresponding to where the nose pads routinely rest. The surgeon said this was possible using donated cartilage. I see no improvement in this area, rather it appears the cartilage was used either side of the middle third. I have developed a pollybeak deformity. Thoughts?
I had a rhinoplasty about 6 months ago and notice that my nose is still a little upturned and looks like its forming polly beak deformity. I just had a Kenalog injection for allergies on my hip/butt area. Will this help with the inflammation and polly beak deformity on my nose? Update: Additional photos added
Hi! I went to Istanbul, Turkey, to get a nose job for my bumpy and bulbous nose (closed, thick skin) After 3 or so months of the procedure, I noticed I had polly beak and was told to just wait. Its been now 19 months since my procedure, I want to see if I can find a doctor that can perform steroid injections to perhaps help? I really dont want to undergo another rhinoplasty. What can I do?
Hello, thanks for taking your time to read my question. I'm 9 months post op and my nose has started to change shape for the worse. It seems that my supratip is either swollen or I'm forming a slight pollybeak. When i put a gentle pressure to the area the nose looks good, then few sec it went to the unwanted shape, also my tip so rounded and stiff, all that give me a bulbous nose, What do you think, should I be worried!?
I had a rhinoplasty 1.5 years ago. Im not entirely happy with result- I had hoped it would improve with time but it looks the same. The nose does look better than it did though and I dont think I dislike it enough to have surgery again (I will likely get some filler to refine the tip). I was just wondering if I had Pollybeak deformity? Would revision help much?
