I had open rhinoplasty in Turkey nearly 8 months ago. Doctor has good reputation. Nose is more crooked to the left than before and the tip is overly protected to the left, the 45 degree view from the right is the worst as it gives a very long and unnatural nose. See pictures. Surgeon is saying that pics with phone are not reliable and while I get that, I can also see it in the mirror and reality is objective. Do I need a revision and if so shall I ask the same surgeon? Thanks for your help
Hi, I got a rhinoplasty on July 2023 (11 months ago) and still have uneven swelling with a hard tip. I am around 60kg and 20 years old. One side of my nose has a bump making it stick out more than the other side, also giving a slant to my nose and making the tip turn towards the other side. What should I do? Is this the cartilage or normal for swelling? Thank you!
I got a rhinoplasty 12 months ago and I think my nose has gotten worse over time than better. I had a pretty ok front profile with a hump which i wanted to get removed. Now My front profile is much worse than before and my bridge and tip are reall big and wide. My surgeon says I have thick skin but during our consultation he said I had thin skin which I believe i do. I just need someone to tell me if its really swollen or this is how my nose will look.
Im exactly 6 months post OP and I feel like theres too much nostril show from the front and side of my nose. The side is alright and I can tolerate it but the front is unattractive.
My doctor didnt say anything about my vaping during the consult. Im 5 days preop and now worried. Im getting a closed septorhinoplasty and minor revison. Including shortened columella, straightened septum, slight shaving of hump. How worried should I be about the vaping and potential for a botched procedure? My doctor has few reviews but good, very nice, and showed me many before and afters.
Splint removed yesterday. I was on oral steroids the week of my surgery and some arnica so it's still swollen but mainly only from the top in-between my eyes. I DIDN'T ask for septo/for my nostrils to be brought in and he did it. Didn't ask for my tip to practically be taken off and upturned, he did it. Now Nostrils are small/crooked. I feel like I look weird and botched. I only asked for my profile bump to be straightened out. So upset and depressed. Am I overreacting or am I right?
A year post rhino/septo. Before had a hump &defined nose. I loved my front &wanted that to stay the same. Wanted the bump taken down a bit &ended up with a smashed/flat undefined crooked nose. My lip also doesn't lift up like it did before. My nostrils look huge &flared, my tip has been overly deprojected & is turned down/low. My nose looks flat &long. Also weird lines by my nostrils &bridge. Do I need augmentation? Any revision advice on how to fix
got my rhinoplasty done over two years ago. Did my research & found a reputable doctor that owns his own clinic in Toronto. procedure cost $10,000. I had a typical middle eastern nose, slight hump & drooping of the tip. He shaved the bump and raised the tip. That's all that he said he would do. Now I have troubles breathing, you can see up my nostrils into the inside of my nose, the tip looks/feels Square shaped rather than round, The bridge still has a slight hump (should have more of an arch)
I got rhinoplasty done 3 weeks now , I got what seemed to be some kind of reaction to the taping which causes an open wound on my nose , which is slowly healing but I also noticed that same side is more swollen than the other and I'm worried it will stay like that the nostril seems bigger than the other I don't know if it's due to the wound or inside inflammation or a botched nose . I have been so worried .. has anyone experienced this ?
