I had a closed rhinoplasty about 23 years ago. I am 46 now. Through time the right tip has moved with gravity I assume. Because it was very symmetrical up until about 10 years ago and I slowly noticed changes. I love the rest of it. Its not perfect but Im ok with that. I just would like that one area reduced if thats even possible. Its definitely cartilage as I can move it and its quite pointy from certain angles, sure to get more prominent with aging.
I had a rhinoplasty when I was 13. It was a complete disaster and considered a botched nose job. This doctor went out of business shortly after. Now Im 34 and Ive developed what I thought was a year long pimple on the tip of my nose. one day I had enough and tried to pop or pull it out. It hurt so bad and as I pulled, I found it was a blue string. Its very blue and incredibly painful. I cannot remove it. Is this some remnant of my surgery?
I had rhinoplasty 18 years ago all went well. Recently my nose has been blocked quite a lot and Ive felt dizzy. Could it be possible that my nose is collapsing ? It certainly doesnt look like it has, but Im concerned is this possible? I have never had any problems only my sense of smell has increased and I suffer with my sinuses more.
I had a rhinoplasty 19 years ago. I have a nasal bossa and Im looking to get it fixed in the UK. Is it a hugely complicated and expensive procedure based on my pictures?
Hello, my son accidentally banged his head into my nose rather hard. It didnt bleed but still hurts to the bone. There is a very slight dip in my nose on the right side now. Im very nervous because 20 years ago I had rhinoplasty after my nose was broken at the bridge. Also the cartilage aroun my right nostril feels soft or less firm now... it could be in my head? Is there any merit to my fears? Can a simply accident fracture my nose and change it?
I developed a perforated septum after a severe bacterial sinus infection. After that, my nose sunk in and my face now has a flat effect. I have never done cocaine or any other drugs. I have been on prednisone for many years for rheumatoid arthritis. Are there any other causes for perforation and any causes for my nose to sink in? I'm assuming it's all related to the septorhinoplasty done in 1974 when I was 24 for broken nose and deviated septum. Will send photos if needed.
I did the silicon implant in my nose 19 years ago. But I feel pain sometimes in the area of the implant in my nose and also the top of my nose is easy to get red when it is very cold or hot. I am worried about it. Wondering what kind of exam should I do ? Do I need to remove the implant? Is the problem serious? Can the silicon implant cause the cancer? Thanks a lot for your replies.
I had Rhinoplasty 20 years ago, but the swelling result of that has never gone! The amount of swelling is different each day. It's more on my tip nose and around my nose. So many years I took different exams, but all results were negative. then I gave up, but now when I have swelling around my nose, I look older. I need to do something. Before surgery my nose was longer, but after that it's short with no tip. I wonder if it might be a problem in lymphatic circulation? Please advice me.Thank-you.
