Hello The above procedures were done about 5 1/2 months ago Can the nerves in the nose and scalp growing back cause constant fluttering and clicking in the inner and/or middle ear? I'm going insane with it and have ruled out most other diagnosis ' It's since the total numbness in my scalp is resolving that it's started and is affecting every aspect of my life Thanks for your response (:
Back in year 2000, I had a brow lift and dorsal nasal augmentation. After more than a decade, it has been causing me some discomfort. I understand that the nasal implant would inevitability migrate upward and therefore cause some discomfort. I am also experiencing some discomfort on my scalp from what I believe to be the brow lift fixation system. My memory may not serve me well but I believe it involved cortical tunnel fixations. Any help recommendation or insight would be appreciated.
I had open rhinoplasty 6 months ago whereby my own spare cartilage from my nose was used along with fascia from my scalp. Part of the graft on the tip became infected & eventually had to be removed 3 weeks ago. I did suffer a Haematoma. I now have persistent redness on the tip of my nose which isn't showing any sign of improving which is worrying me. I only had a very tiny area of redness around the infected graft prior. Can anyone explain what's going on and how to treat this? Thank you
I had surgery on my nose 4 months ago (cosmetic and functional). At 5 weeks out I had facial burning (nose and forehead) which moved to scalp, top of my head, and back of my head. What did my surgeon damage? Could this be a nerve? How do I treat it? My derm seems to think the face is rosacea. My question is to those of you who have performed thousands of surgeries especially the atypical cases. I'm trying to get answers from my surgeon, but he is rather aloof about the whole thing.
I had a septoplasty and rhinoplasty 6 days ago. I have had no bruising on the face only a little swelling however I have what feels like bruises on the back of my head and the right half of the back of my head is numb. The other side has feeling. When I tap it or brush my hair it is numb. The feeling is coming back slowly however I am interested to know why I have this issue. I asked my surgeon and he said there was no trauma to the head during surgery and my head was in a headring.
