What interventions do you suggest to make it look more asthetically? The dorsum isnt straight, the nostrils are big, its asymmetrical, tip looks bulbous. Which interventions would be beneficial? Respectfully Eric
I had my first rhinoplasty 1.5 years ago. I wanted a natural result & a nice and straight nose. My doctor did something completly different and I am VERY unhappy with the result. Since I had the operation I feel so ugly and like it destroyed my face and looks so fake. - Nose is too wide from front and too much up (like a piggy) - Nose is so short and tip too round - Face swelling on left side - Uneven nosestrils What can I do? Is a revision possible? Or maybe I can fix it with hyaloron?
23 year old woman who got a rhinoplasty and earlobe reduction surgery about 8 months ago. My surgeon and I agreed on making my nose smaller and fixing the assymetry, because my nose slanted to one side when i smiled. My nose is indeed smaller now, but i am not happy with the overall look. When I look at the before and afters, i feel like my nostrils flare more and there's something about the frontal view that bothers me. Maybe the tip? I feel like i made a mistake. Please help.
I had a rhinoplasty in Turkey in April 2021. I am now 8.5 months post op, and the bridge of my nose is still very wide and swollen. Its wider than it was before surgery, and I am really unhappy. I know its swelling as its soft and if I push it down I can see that the bone / Cartilage underneath is not wide. The swelling hasnt improved at all for months. The tip is also swollen but this is apparently normal - why is my bridge so swollen? Will it go? Would steroid injections help?
I had rhinoplasty 3 days ago. Had a good nose already, and wanted only very minor shaping done - a small bony bit removed from the right side of my bridge, and asked for advice on my tip - which i felt wasn't supported when i smiled. Surgeon suggested a cartilage implant in the tip (taken from my ear). I said I was concerned as I didn't want an upturned nose. He said that, at most, it would raise the tip 1mm. Now, day 3 and I have a pig nose, and totally distressed. Can I get it removed??
Im 11 weeks post op and extremely unhappy with my results. The front of my nose is thin but the profile hasnt change, yet my profile was the part I liked the least about my nose. Is there any hope that my nose will go down further? Or will it remain big? Will I need a revision?
I went to a board certified surgeon recommended to me by another doctor and a friend. I had 3 consultations with the surgeon and he spent a lot of time with me and was very kind. I had the rhinoplasty and 6 months later Im horified with the results. My septum still appears crooked, my nostrils are two different shapes and sizes, one side looks pinched, I think I have a bossa forming etc. Why did my surgery go so wrong?! Do people respond differently to surgery? Am I botched? Am I being neurotic?
I had a rhinoplasty to straighten a very slight bump from my nose. Im two weeks post operation and I really hate the results. I now have a very short, pig nose which doesnt suit my face. I wanted something very subtle which I specified at every consultation. Will my tip drop? I know its early but I had no bruising and very little face swelling so I feel like I heal quickly. What will my options for revision be?
4 months after rhinoplasty I do not like the type of my nose. Is it possible with time to improve its appearance? I have more skin around my eyes, which looks like it's cracked. I have a lump to the right that is rigid to the touch if it's edema or not? Is there hope for improvement or will need a re-operation.
hi i had rhinoplasty done 8weeks ago ,and i HATE what the surgeon has done to me. the nose is not straight one nostril is obviously bigger and higher and different size to the other and the nose is too upturned which makes it look piggy like and the nostrils show too much. my surgeon keeps saying its swelling but i dont believe him i think he messed up
