Rhinoplasty + Callous Q&A

I am 2.5 years post op. I only wanted the bottom half of my nose slimmed slightly and my tip lifted, however my nose now clearly dips, is much too small, and I've developed bony calluses near the top of my nose bridge. I did not have a good experience with my surgeon. What are my options now? And is it possible to form calluses like this when my nose was supposedly not broken? I did not want my bridge touched at all. I can tell my nose is still healing as it's swollen and tender.

Hello, I have a bony callus that formed after breaking my nose. I saw how it can be rasped down in the office with local anesthesia, could that procedure cause an inverted v deformity ? Thank you for taking the time to reply !

3 months ago I got an open rhinoplasty I was very content with the results but as the swelling started to go down I noticed a small grain like bump on my nose I consulted my surgeon and he gave me steroid shots but the bumps still hasnt gone away and it isnt soft like a callous can this bump get any bigger or could it reduce its size as the swelling comes down? Im very worried and confused 

6 weeks? 6 months? A whole year?

Had revision rhinoplasty 6 months ago. I had a little scar tissue/callous on the right upper side of bridge and left lower side of bridge. I am having steroid injections which are helping though I would like to know is there a possibility that these could ruin my results?

I'm 11 days post-op. I have a bump on the side of the bridge of my nose and it is visible from the front/profile, which I discovered a day after cast removal. It is hard to the touch and Im very concerned that it will not go away. My doctor just said we have to wait it out. 

I am 1 month post op closed rhino and after 10 days post op I could feel the bone where my bump was before.I asked my surgeon and he said that I might be able to feel it but Not see it.at one month post op I can see the bump. Is this because it has not been reduced enough? I have read that it could be callous formation that smooths out in time? I don't have much swelling and it feels hard. I bumped it one night, was a sharp tingling pain that did not last long and I didn't notice any difference?

Hello, I had a rhinoplasty carried out about 5 years ago. This lump was visible from the moment I took the bandages off. My doctor reassured me that it would disappear in time but it is still here! Please could you advise what the lump is and how it can be removed? Is it an easy operation? Thank you!

I understand that scar tissue is inevitable but is there a way to minimize or prevent calluses from forming after dorsal hump reduction and osteotomy?
