I am 1 year post septorhinoplasty and as the swelling has gone down I am left with this bump on one side of my nasal bone and am wondering what could be going on here. My surgeon thinks it is still uneven swelling and wants to see me in a year. I have checked in with him at 1, 3, 6 and 12 months (12 months being the most recent). He is a double board certified (ENT and FACS) with over 35 years of experience. Should swelling on the bridge be gone by 1 year? What else could this be? Thanks!
Hello, I broke my nose and didnt get it fixed on time and I am facing some breathing difficulties, I have also done an scanner of my nose and the doctors say that my septum is straight. I was wondering if the nasal bones are crooked could they be the cause for my breathing problems ? Thank you.
When the cast was removed my nose was still swollen and it was perfectly curved just how I wanted it to look. As weeks and months have passed the swelling on my nose has diminished tremendously and there is now an obvious hard lump where the bone was shaved off. Im very concerned and know it is still early on, but I haven't noticed this bump going down at all, feels hard as a bone. It just keeps getting more noticeable! Please any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
It has been 3 weeks since my surgery and I am concerned about a bump that is located on the upper right side of my nose bridge. Before my surgery my nose was straight, however since I had my bump removed my nose has looked as though it is deviating to the right and is crooked. I'm hoping this crookedness is due to the bump that was left over from the surgery (whether it be swelling or residual bone). Is my nose crooked and deviating or is the bump throwing off the overall look?
when i breathe through my nose i get a pain that feels kind of cold inside the upper left side of my nose. but when I push the soft bone part of my nose to the left and breathe, the pain goes away and it feels a lot more comfortable to breathe through my left nostril. the pain is where the hard bone of my nose is on the left side. (upper left side) This has given me head aches on my left side if i breathe through my nose too much.
I stuck a pinky finger in my nose earlier. My right nostral was fine but. I could only get up to my nail in my left nostril. I hit a bone Id say its about a half inch from the opening of the nostril. And I never broke my nose ever
I had rhinoplasty a year ago and one side wall of the nose (my right but looks left on the photo) you can see the bone raised and it casts a shadow. I can feel the bone and it sticks out width wise towards my check. It sticks out past the tip width of my nose. Is there anything that can be done to correct this? I also cant breathe now out of the right hand nostril and I had no problem before the op. I had a dorsal hump removed.
I have deep-set eyes, pronounced forehead bones, a high bridge of the nose. I don't like all this because it makes the face sharp and masculine (?). would it be possible to reduce the bones of the forehead and eyebrows, reduce the bridge of the nose, make it flatter, like Asians? I would like more smooth, small and feminine facial features. (I dont have photos, but draw something similar) Im female
