I had a tip rhinoplasty about 10 months ago. I had some residual scar tissue in my left nostril which makes it look a bit asymmetrical still, but nothing like this bump that formed about 2 days ago suddenly on my septum. It doesn't hurt when left alone, but feels a little tender to the touch. It is right above my incision scar. It's not hard, but feels firmer than something like a blister. What should I do?
I had rhinoplasty just over a year ago and ive had this lump under my skin since the procedure and it hasnt gone down since, I think its scar tissue and I'm just wondering if it will ever get better as its really obvious and makes my nose look deformed. My surgeon gave me one steroid shot and it didnt improve and he thinks it looks fine so I havent been offered any other solution for it
I recently had a rhinoplasty about 6 months ago I am not noticing one nostril has either scar tissue or skin Im not sure what this could be but its making it difficult to breath out of that side and I hate looking at the inside of my nose. Also noticing nostril getting wider.
Hello, I had rhinoplasty 3 and a half years ago. There is excess scar tissue formation inside my nose. Since the right side of my nose is round and soft, I think there is scar tissue formation there as well. Is it useful to apply steroid injection? Even if I had a revision, I was hesitant because there was a possibility that it could reoccur.
i'm 25 and i got the surgery at almost 24 yearsold. it's been a year and my nose looks wide at the bridge and from the side my philtrum looks more flat and less curved compared to before. i think my nose looks too short for my face and it's not projecting as much. it's also tilting towards one side i think... and sth is poking out of my nostril which feels like cartilage but my doctor said it's scar tissue?? also is my anterior nasal spine shaved and can it be reversed?
I developed a polybeak in the supratip area of my nose and the sides after rhinoplasty. Had 3 Kenalog injections but did not work. What is the maximum amount of kenalog shots that can be given to me and what happens if kenalog shots still does not work?
Had a rhinoplasty 14 months ago - recently started feeling like there was blockage affecting my breathing - I can see what looks like scar tissue affecting my breathing. I know I need to be seen in person but looking for some advice on what should be recommended as a fix.
My surgeon said he did not shorten my nose (septum) but after the surgery my nose looks shorter. 11 weeks later it is even shorten than 2 weeks after surgery. Can this in theory be true? What can cause the nose to shorten during the healing phase?
Ive had rhinoplasty 4 years ago and I am still unhappy with the result. I don't have the funds for a revision right now however I have heard that cortisone/steroid shots can help. I have very thick skin and I'm sure that a lot of the swelling on my right side comes from scar tissue. However on the left side of my nose tip I have a very hard ball that really sticks out of my nose. Is this scar tissue too? Also can my asymmetrical nostrils be fixed with filler?
