At 9 months my surgeon said we can go in and do a minor revision to my nose . At 9 months my surgeon said that is ok I have thin skin . He will take temporal fascia to cover the two points in my tip and trim one graft that is pressing down on my nostril . Why is my surgeon ok with 9 months and others say 12 months ? Is 9 months to early with thin skin? There has been no change in my nose since 12 weeks .
I am planning on having a few touch-ups performed and would like to plan well and want to know in what order I should have these procedures performed. Would it be most beneficial to have my teeth shaped around my new face or vice versa?
I'm 6 months PO and there's still a small boney bump on the side of my bridge. This makes a nice profile, but my 3/4 view does not have the smooth, straight look I had hoped for. Also my tip is a bit droopier than I wanted. I never thought I'd be wanting a revision, but these flaws still bug me! I don't need to restructure or any cartilage grafts... but would a small rasping procedure and tiny minor tip lift be considered a touch up by the doctor and less risky than a complete revision?
I had a revision rhinoplasty a few months ago. Although I like the improvement I have noticed as the swelling has subsided that there is an odd dent or divot in the cartilage tip of my nose on only one side. I'm wondering if this is common, whether or not it is likely to improve, and if it is something a touch up is capable of fixing or if it would only increase the problem. Thank you. This photo doesn't show how bad it is in some lighting but gives a rough impression of the problem.
My nose has still been slanted 4 months after rhino/septoplasty. It even looks big on the right side and smaller on the left. Although it's not as slanted as before, I was hoping that I would get better results. Could this be due to swelling or will I need a touch up?
Hi. I had a rhinoplasty surgery a week ago to make my nose smaller, get rid of a bump, and add a feminine curve to my nose. Now I know everyone is going to tell me to wait and be patient however I got the cast off yesterday and almost burst out into tears. I know my nose is swollen but I absolutely hate the profile and the shape - my bump is still there it's just smaller! My PS says it's just swelling but isn't swelling more common in the tip? Could swelling cause a shape this imperfect?
