I have Septo-rhinoplasty on march 2021 right after my nose looked very crooked, but i knew it was just the swelling, a year past and it definitely got better but it still looked slightly crooked, my doctor suggested steroids shots to help reduce the swelling i been having them here and there but now im 3 years post-op and my nose still looks slightly crooked and dont think the steroids shot are doing anything, if there anything else i can do?
After Nasal Valve Repair surgery November 6th, my nose is so much better, my nose isn't collapsed now. But my nostrils aren't level and are exposed. I know there may be some swelling (I has sinus FESS surgery at the same time) but I didn't have exposed nostrils that are raised up before the surgery.
I am 6 month Post OP and my voice changed. It is as if there is more air-resistance in the epipharynx space, which makes talking very tiring after a while. Only when I lay down in bed it seems as if the upper area of the nose opens up more (as if I used spray which I dont) and makes breathing easier.Due to the nose Job my sidewalls were broken and pushed together and I still have some swelling in the nose. What causes this air resistance and the twang, why does the nose open up after lying down?
I am going to get reconstructive surgery for saddle nose. I'm getting swelling, weird smells and discoloration outside of my nose. This is due to an awful mistake on my part. Should I inform my surgeon about the pulled stitch? I do not their for fear of my reconstructive surgery won't be covered if i do so. Thanks in advance
Its been almost two years since Ive my sinoplasty/rhinoplasty. I still have a very bulbous tip/drooping collumela that still swells occasionally. I have thick skin but was never told to tape. Ive already gone through one round of steroid injections that gave me some temporary results. Im now seeing some bumps on my tip which I am concerned might be scar tissue. Is there anything I can do now short of revision?
Hello, I had my rhinoplasty 6 months ago, and i'm worried my nose is crooked at the tip. my nostrils are also uneven. my nose looked straighter right after cast removal, so i'm wondering if this is just swelling thats causing the asymmetry. I have medium-thick skin.
Hello, I've posted before about asymmetry that I had on my nasal bridge after rhino. This has corrected itself but now I'm wondering if these harsh lines on either side of my nose tip will soften up or is this permanent and due to the rib graft that they used? I still have a lot of swelling in my tip, 5 months post up this month.
Hi there, I'm wanting to get a rhinoplasty later this year, and I'm wondering if having fillers in my cheeks, and under eyes will affect the outcome, and if they should be dissolved beforehand? I know there could swelling and I'm wondering if that would effect the fillers in anyway?
I am a 37 y/o women who had a rhinoplasty in July of 2023. In the beginning, about a month after I had an infection and was treated with antibiotics. After everything was good and I was in love with the shape of my new nose. However, within last few months I realized that the tip dropped and it changed its shape. Plus, it has been two days I feel pulsing near the sides of my nose. You can actually see how the muscles contracts. Do I have chances that the will still change. Ils there swelling?
