I got a primary rhinoplasty done 3.5 months ago. My dorsal hump was resected and used as a columnar strut. There is still some swelling in the supratip region. Is my nose tip rotated too upwards? Im worried that it looks unnatural and looks obvious that I had surgery. Doctor told me that the tip might drop 1-2mm in the first month, but till now it hasnt dropped. I have thick oily skin, will the tip drop gradually with time? Also, how long after surgery can I get filler in the tip region?
Hello, I had a secondary rhinoplasty 10 months ago to correct a remaining cartilaginous bump. Although my nose is flatter now, I still have a fullness in the supratip area (it's soft and resolves when I squeeze it) and the skin doesn't seem to have fully wrapped around the structure. I've also noticed that my nose tends to hang down towards the floor when I lie on my side. Do you think it will improve over time or can it stay permanently?
I had a rhinoplasty outside the US about 6 months ago. Im concerned with the fullness in my supra tip area. It feels firm at this point so Im concerned that this is my final profile. I have a follow up scheduled with a US surgeon in two months, but in the meantime Im trying not to completely panic. Does this look/seem like something kenalog could resolve, or should I prepare for needing a revision? Any advice would be appreciated. Im having a really hard time.
I had open rhinoplasty in February 2024 (8 months ago) and would appreciate your advice on the outcome. While my breathing has improved, I am not satisfied with the aesthetics, especially the frontal view. The tip still looks too large, more than before surgery ( I have thick skin). My surgeon mentioned supratip fibrosis but feels his work is excellent and last time proposed a filler on the bridge to make it more even. I think the nose would look bigger. Shoulf i consider revision? Thank you
I developed a polybeak in the supratip area of my nose and the sides after rhinoplasty. Had 3 Kenalog injections but did not work. What is the maximum amount of kenalog shots that can be given to me and what happens if kenalog shots still does not work?
I had a septorhinoplasty done about 6 months ago and am quite unhappy with results and hope there will be significant improvement over the yea. My tip is extremely round and bulbous, not refined at all, and the supratip break is extremely exaggerated making my nose look short and stout. It also looks overrotated from the right. I also feel like the bridge might have collapsed at the break? My tip also has a permanent shadow above it from the front. And my breathing hasnt improved greatly.
had a review with my surgeon last month but hadn't really noticed it then. At review had a steroid injection right side due to scar tissue/inflammation. My nose post surgery had looked relatively straight (pic uploaded) but I am not sure if that was because of swelling/inflam and now that has reduced the dip is more noticeable? My surgeon looked up my nose at review and said it looked ok and breathing is fine. Appreciate opinions and advice on this, have also contacted my surgeon :)
About 3 weeks after my primary rhinoplasty, a hard bump appeared on the supra tip. It appears to be cartilage as it is hard and not soft tissue. My doctor is considering a touch-up, but I read here that rasping might be only for bone. My skin is too thin, I'd rather not have a revision . Is there any other safe way to correct this without compromising the original result? Picture shows result after 10 days, vs result after 6 months. Thank you.
