Hi, I had a Rhinoplasty done in Mtl almost 6 months ago. Few weeks after surgery I got pregnant. In the past month Ive been experiencing mild nasal bleeding(less than a drop) and congestion. I thought maybe is not a big deal but recently my nostrils bleed more. Sometimes is the right, sometimes left. I feel irritated inside, maybe itchy, not necessarily painful but uncomfortable. Outside looks just fine. Could this be pregnancy related? is it normal to bleed?
Ive read that pregnancy causes the nose to swell. How long should I wait after my revision rhinoplasty (using rib graft) to begin trying to become pregnant? Or is there no need to worry as it wont affect the results. Thank you
Based on ultrasounds and hormonal testing, I have somewhat low ovarian reserve for my age -32 turning 33 in May. I will likely not be trying for a baby for another 3-4 years. Would getting a septorhinoplasty in the meantime hurt my fertility? I have heard that inflammation anywhere in the body can harm fertility, and I know that the recovery process for rhinoplasty is long. Should I wait until after having the baby to get a rhinoplasty?
i have a badly deviated septum and i must have it corrected before i get pregnant again because it was miserable last time not being able to breathe. i am also opting for a rhinoplasty as well because i want to get it done all at once.. How soon after my prcedures can i get pregnant? after initial recovery? or should i wait for a while?
I've heard that pregnancy can come with potential for a bigger wider nose. I already want a rhinoplasty with septoplasty. I have a deviated septum and a drooping nose with a hump. It's a bit of a long nose. I wanted a doctor's advice on if given the choice should I get a rhinoplasty before conceiving, or after pregnancy is finished? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, I had nose silicone implant 3 years ago and Im 6 months pregnant now. The skin around my nose is getting thinner and red and the silicone implant is sticking out inside of my nose. It feels weird when I touch my nose tip and I think its infected. Is there anything I can do to delay this process until the baby is born? Or can I get my nose implant removed under local anesthesia? Im really stressed now. Thank you
I have had 2 children in the past 3 years and my nose has become bigger and wider with each pregnancy. It has been now almost a year and a half after my last child was born and my nose has not yet returned to normal. It is still wider, more bulbous and now has a bifid tip. Is this common? Will my nose ever go back to normal or will I have to resort to Rhinoplasty?
I found out I'm pregnant two days prior to surgery. I plan to speak to my doctor but wasn't sure what the protocol is. Since I am early on in pregnancy (1 week max) would you perform septo/rhino on a patient fully aware of the affects surgery can have? I would be willing to sign a consent form and take all responsibility. I have breathing problems that wold make pregnancy difficult. Would any doctor consider performing the surgery? thank you for your time/ response.
