I have a slight hump that appeared about 3 months post op on my bridge and I think my tip is still protruding too much from a 45 angle, my surgeon hasn't addressed any of my concerns, and I'm beginning to worry I may need some tweaks, rasping, and I want the red bump on my nose removed. I brought these concerns up in the 1st consult but he refused to remove the tiny red bump, while I was under then tried to charge me more money at my 6 month follow up to have it removed.
Hello, I had a septorhinoplasty 8 months ago in my home-country. I corrected the septum, but since then I have had problems with mucus, difficulty breathing. CT Scan showed mild symptoms of sinusitis and no irregularities in nose structures or bones. I have been seen by 2 ENT-s in Toronto and no solution at all besides the saline & steroid spray. I am also having issues with ears now. What should be the diagnosis? Thanks.
I had open rhinoplasty in February 2024 (8 months ago) and would appreciate your advice on the outcome. While my breathing has improved, I am not satisfied with the aesthetics, especially the frontal view. The tip still looks too large, more than before surgery ( I have thick skin). My surgeon mentioned supratip fibrosis but feels his work is excellent and last time proposed a filler on the bridge to make it more even. I think the nose would look bigger. Shoulf i consider revision? Thank you
After rhino 8 months ago my nose wont stop dripping. Its been social embarrassing. If Im eating it drips extra, resulting in me not eating out anymore. Also, I asked only for the nose to get closer to my face. The surgeon said I had to large nosestrils and to wide nose. He changed it much and it is now very thinand not straight. But mostly it is the pointy tip thats bothering me. Is the dripping and tip something to do about? ( also convinced me chin implant! Big regret )
Bump appeared on the bridge of my nose 8 months after rhinoplasty I got my nose done 8 months ago and newelg 2 weeks ago a bump on the bridge of my most appeared, it's hard and it seems to not be getting smaller. I'm really worried and I want to know if this means I would need another surgery or if its common and it'll go away on it's own. It appeared out of no where couple hours after waking up on day, if its something that's common what should I do to fix it?
I had a rhinoplasty (and septioplasty) just about 8 months ago. I loved the results initially, but the last month or so as swelling as decreased significantly it has become apparent that it is really pulling to the right. I really notice it in face-on photos and its really bugging me. BUT I am desperately not wanting a revision. Is this something that can be corrected without a revision? Filler on the left side? Anything else? Im so bummed
Hello, I am wondering if my nose appears to be healing properly 8 months post-opp. Today it is red and appears to be swollen likely causing the crooked appearence. I am hoping for opinions confirming this. Thank you!
I had an open rhinoplasty (piezo) done 8 months ago and Im worried about how big and wide the bridge and tip still look from the front. I havent seen the swelling go down past the 2-3 month mark and my concern is that this may be close to the final shape. Does this look like swelling? If so, should I look into a steroid injection? Im also concerned about a slight bump that I see on the bridge in the side profile and the lack of slope. For context I am south Asian with medium skin thickness.
Im 8 months post op after having a lateral osteotomy, medial osteotomy, tip plasty using septal cartilage, hump removal, and SMR. My nose is completely different to what it was at 8 weeks and 4 months post op to what it is now. It has grown back bigger, the hump is back, my tip is uneven (due to swelling? I cant tell) and am i possibly slipping into saddle nose? Why does it look so bad now compared to 8 wks/4 mths? What happened? Talking to the surgery who did it has been unhelpful
