A few days ago I noticed a small little bump forming on the right side of my tip. It feels hard and almost pointy to touch. The only thing I've been doing differently is tanning in a tanning bed. Could this cause this bump? It's Friday right now and I didn't have it on Tuesday. I'm about 5 and a half months post op right now. Is it still possible for cartilage grafts to shift at this point? What could this bump be? Will it go away?
I wasn't sure how long I need to wait to put on makeup after rhinoplasty? Also, is it dangerous for me to tan before the surgery? I don't mean literally the day before but a week or two before is that okay or will that mess up my skin? Thank you :)
Just wondering if I can go on the sunbed around 6 weeks after an open rhinoplasty? I've read I should wait 6 months! I just won't be able to do that.. What would the consequence be if I went on 6 weeks after ? What if I covered my nose with something and just tanned the rest of my face ? Would that be ok?
I had septorhinoplsty on april 18 this year . Since summer is here i've been staying out of the sun and wearing hats for 2 month but i've been wondering if i can go into tanning bad if i cover my nose with sunsncreen . I know tanning bads are harmfull but my complexsion is very very white and it's making me feel self concious . So will a little bit of tanning on the body effect the nose ? Thanks in advance
Im going to have my dorsal hump rasped and I want to continue tanning afterwards. I always cover my face with towels in the tanning bed. Can I still do this after the rasping procedure? My Dr. says I will have a splint on. Will the splint be ok in the tanning bed? How about after the splint is removed? Can I cover my face and tan then?
naturally under the sun? I hardly tan because of the lack of sun/warmth where I live, but Iam going on vacation and wouldnt mind laying out in the sun for awhile. I had a closed rhinoplasty. is it okay? (itll be around 2-3 weeks post op when i go.)
Good Evening, I am aware of the fact that the sun should be avoided at least 3 months after a Rhinoasty, although because of the surgery and other factors including my natural skin tone, I really look too pale. I really enjoy the sun and sunbathing at the beach, but I know it will take a while for that.Though, I was wondering if I could take any direct sunlight after having heavily covered my nose with a towel or other materials in order to remove some paleness and get some colour back.Thank You
