Hello, I had rhinoplasty 3 and a half years ago. There is excess scar tissue formation inside my nose. Since the right side of my nose is round and soft, I think there is scar tissue formation there as well. Is it useful to apply steroid injection? Even if I had a revision, I was hesitant because there was a possibility that it could reoccur.
Hello, Im 33 and have been thinking about rhinoplasty for around 15 years now so have decided to finally take the plunge this year. The things I dont like about my nose are: The over projection The sharpness The size of the tip Deviated septum Long nostrils I would love a smaller, softer looking nose with more rounded nostrils. Would this be possible? (Ive added an inspo photo for reference) Thanks so much in advanced!
I had a rhinoplasty/septoplasty 4 years ago and my nose has remained hard at the tip ever since. I was never told that this would occur and although its been a while it still bothers me that the nose is hard at the tip and you cant push it down. Is there a way I can soften it? I had a netball accident in which my nose was broken hence why I needed a septoplasty to straighten the break, a rhinoplasty was also included to refine the tip a little I never wanted to change the look of my face/nos
Hello, I had my nose job exactly 6 months ago and I was not told about massaging my nose at all, so I have not been doing that and I was waiting for my nose to get smaller but it didn't, I don't feel it swollen t all now looks like 90% of swelling all gone as everything is soft. is there anything I can doo at this stage to help shape my nose, Will starting the massage now will be effective ?
Is it possible to have a rhinoplasty with the tip remaining exactly as soft and flexible as it was pre-op or is that impossible? I see too many people who are 3 year + post op complaining how their tips are still rock hard and inflexible.
Hello, I was told by a surgeon that I could fix my crooked septum (when a shadow falls, one side of my nose looks like it has a chunk missing, aka pinched on one side) either by full correction of the septum or by cartilage grafting from my ear. I breath ok, so I chose the cartilage grafting. But I now read that ear cartilage is too soft to use on the septum and is better for shaping the tip. Could someone please comment on this? Can a crooked septum be fixed successfully this way?
I have thin skin. Is my morphed going photo possible? I want harsh cartilage softened. Most doctors say I need an open rhinoplasty with added cartilage or fascia. Would temporal fascia, ear or rib cartilage be better? I want less visibility of nostrils at all angles. Hanging columella shortened, bulbous tip and dorsal hump removed. Very finesse. Everyone says I'll regret a nose job. I'm worried it will look even more upturned and too small. I just want imperfections perfected.
Its been 8 years since my rhinoplasty And i was told that after 2 years nose tip would be softer already. I believe they used my septum cartilage to extend my nose tip and although i like my nose shape, i hate that its hard. I always feel ashamed of people trying to touch my nose etc because of that. Is there a way to make the nose tip softer? Will a revision to remove graft be the only way??
I had a rhinoplasty in Turkey in April 2021. I am now 8.5 months post op, and the bridge of my nose is still very wide and swollen. Its wider than it was before surgery, and I am really unhappy. I know its swelling as its soft and if I push it down I can see that the bone / Cartilage underneath is not wide. The swelling hasnt improved at all for months. The tip is also swollen but this is apparently normal - why is my bridge so swollen? Will it go? Would steroid injections help?
