Over the years, Ive developed indentations next to my nose that only appear when I smile. When my face is relaxed, these areas are mostly flat. Im hesitant to use fillers because Im concerned theyll look unnatural when my face is at rest. Is there a procedure or treatment that could reduce the appearance of these indentations? Thank you in advance!
I had a splint on my nose following rhinoplasty. I complained that it was too tight and was worried it would leave a dent but was told it was fine. Unfortunately I was right and it did leave a massive dent that has not gone away. I am being told I have to wait until the swelling fully goes down before I can do anything about it. But I dont want to wait for another several months. I look horrible and am embarrassed to be seen in public. Any advice?
8 months post-op I have a dent at the bridge of my nose where the bump was shaved down. It is visible to the eye. I also still have a slight bump on the side of the bridge. Surgeon has told me this occurred post op when we were trying to fix an issue with the cartilage moving out of place through massaging. They have agreed to fix it using a closed approach by shaving down the residual bump and using the bone dust to fill the dent at the bridge. Will this work?
I have this small indentation on the top of nose ...almost like a small dip shaped like an inverted triangle ....,..it developed within the last 10 years ...what is it and how can it be treated
I have this indent on my nose I asked bout it before I was told it was a deviation/ mid vault indention. I mention that was apart of my original fear as well as saddle nose. I've attached a lot of photos of both sides of my nose the right side having the indent at certain angles as you'll see it isn't noticeable but at others it's extremely noticeable please help
There are indents on the right (scab didn't come off till 18 days later and the place where the last part of the scab fell off is where it is indented) and a very dark purple/brown line towards the left nostril. Is this normal? I've started to use scar gel but will it improve over time? From the looks of it, it looks like the scar will be prominent. Please advise if there is anything I can do to improve this.
I had my rhinoplasty a year and five months ago. six months post op I had my first steroid injection after that I had four more. After the third or fourth injection my nose changed a lot. The shape is not what it used to be and now it has indents or bumps on the tip. My nose now looks too pointy, and when I smile it kinda droops down. I am just as self-conscious as I was before the nose job. I just want to know if theres a way to fix this without a revision and as soon as possible please :*(
I've had the indent since I was a baby but it's getting significantly more obvious as I age. I have been told that it's in an area that is complicated to work on. I have scoured before and afters for years and have never seen a surgical/non-surgical rhinoplasty or forehead contour result that specifically addressed this part of the nose/brow. I don't really mind the shape of my nose otherwise. Could a brow bone reduction help? I wouldn't even know what to ask a doctor for during a consult.
