I got a septoplasty, nasal valve repair and rhinoplasty back in August of 2023. In two weeks it will be 6 mo post op. One side has healed great, while the other side is showing slight asymmetry. Before the surgery, I had a deviated septum and a fractured nose that caused a dorsal hump. My surgeon said he did slightly more work on the side that currently has a bump. So could this be swelling or will this bump never go away? Im going for my 6 mo PO follow up in a few weeks. My skin type is thin
I had rhinoplasty a year ago and one side wall of the nose (my right but looks left on the photo) you can see the bone raised and it casts a shadow. I can feel the bone and it sticks out width wise towards my check. It sticks out past the tip width of my nose. Is there anything that can be done to correct this? I also cant breathe now out of the right hand nostril and I had no problem before the op. I had a dorsal hump removed.
Im 8 months post up and strange shadow along the right side of my nose. It makes my nose appear crooked. Breathing is a little restricted on that side as well. Could this be a complication from the rhinoplasty
My concern is area above my nose. In certain lighting it looks like I have something like a shadow above my nose and on photos taken in that lighting it makes me look like i have unibrow. It is not a wrinkle and I have it since I was like 17 and now I'm 28. Does that have something to do with my nose shape? I added some photos where you can see that shadow which is not a wrinkle but I don't know what it is. Thank you
I have a permanent dark shadow on the bridge of my nose that is prominent in the daylight and evening in certain lighting. It doesn't sit on the skin like a spot or anything but looks really deep beneath my skin. I wanted to know what it is and if theres anything i can do ?
Please see pictures. Yes, my nose is huge and unrefined (not what was originally planned) but I'm asking about the asymmetry. My pre-op nose was very smooth looking but now I have unpleasant shadows, hollow (where the black arrow is pointed at in the picture). Thank you!
In photos my nose looks terrible. I had always struggled with how my nose looked since I was 9. The sides of my nose creates this weird shadow that goes from slim to wide, this shadow isn't even a thin one but a wide one that stretches out to the width of my alars. Would I need to get the sidewalls of my nose straightened? Or would I need to get my alars fixed to narrow it out? Or both? What surgery should be recommended? Is it even the side walls that is the issue? Please help!
I had surgery a month and a half ago and had turbinate reduction, slightly deviated septum corrected, bulbous tip reduced, and my nose was slightly off center so I think they re-positioned it. Also I had my dorsal hump reduced. Now I have a vertical shadow on one side of my nose that also appears to be indenting in and I can feel the indention as well. Is it normal to have a dark shadow on one side of the nose and will it go away with time? It makes it look crooked.
My right side nostril is lower than the left one and also i have a small dent and shadow on the top right of my nose. is there a nonsurgical way to fix this? do i have deviation or any other problem? i wanted to do rhinoplasty to make my nose smaller but I'm afraid it won't turn as good as i expect i appreciate your advice
