A few days ago I noticed a small little bump forming on the right side of my tip. It feels hard and almost pointy to touch. The only thing I've been doing differently is tanning in a tanning bed. Could this cause this bump? It's Friday right now and I didn't have it on Tuesday. I'm about 5 and a half months post op right now. Is it still possible for cartilage grafts to shift at this point? What could this bump be? Will it go away?
Hello Doct! I have done my nose surgery before 5 months and i have a little bump on it, my doctor said to me that he is going to shaved the bump for 5minutes and then the bump will desepear! Hello. I had a rhinoplasty end of october 2023. Ive noticed two halfish pea sized bumps on the bridge. One at the highest part of the bridge and one about mid bridge. My procedure was hump removal, tip reconstruction, side narrowing and a deviated septum fix. The bumps are semi centred but more to where the deviated part was. Will these bumps be swelling? Or is it my bone healing in a way that makes it look like i have a hump again?
My rhinoplasty was to remove a hump and flattening/drooping of the nasal tip. It looks very good from the side although the nostrils are uneven and one side looks like it hasn't healed properly. Also the trunk is wide and the tip bulbous and rounded. It looks boy-ish and makes my features looks less feminine front on than pre-surgery. Should I have remedial surgery for the nostrils and to make my tip more pointed and the trunk thinner?
I had rhinoplasty in Turkey about 4.5 months ago. I really wanted something natural and not to upturned. I hated my nose right out of surgery, it was extremely upturned. However, it slowly started to drop. My only issue is that my columella is straight. I dont know if this will be resolved as swelling subsides but it bothers me a lot. Its very unnatural looking from the front and side. My surgeon keeps assuring me it only needs time. Is he speaking the truth?
I'm almost 6 months PO, but I can already tell how much worse my nose looks. The new shape and curvature of my nose are less attractive and more wrong for my face; especially when smiling. I think the tip is too straight and narrow, and bridge is too rectangular and wide. Also, my columella is very droopy and round, giving the tip a clover look. The aesthetic lines of my nose are now very convex and less feminine. There may be supratip fullness. Will things smoothen/sharpen out?
I am 5.5 months post op. Had a nasal hump removal. The hump seems fine . The swelling days looked fine with no beaky tip. But 5.5 months after the tip has started to look like a beak . Could you please help me to know what could be wrong with this result of mine. I have read about Polly break deformity. Is it what I have developed ? Please help.
I am 5m post primary rhinoplasty. Breathing through one nostril is 50% obstructed. Directly after surgery there was a small lump, which probably was a small hematoma which wasn't drained. Now there is a stiff bulge right below the place where you can see the scar, parallel to lateral crus. The wall is sagging because of it. My surgeon prescribed 3 rounds of steroid injections to deal with edema and fibrosis. Can it be that UCL strut could ve been placed unilaterally and caused the bulging?
It was better couple of weeks ago, but I had few days when I drunk some red wine (I'd say two glasses of wine for 5 days) and my nose got bigger and I've got more swelling especially around tip. is out possible that my nose reacts to red wine? Also I noticed when I clean (blow) my nose in the morning I see some red blood clot like things. Shall I be concerned? No alcohol for me until healing process ends?
