Its been 9 months since rhinoplasty and the tip of my nose and collumella is still hard. Is that the reason when i smile it look like i habe hanging collumella and when ii have straight face it looks good. Will it get flatter as it gets softer over time or will i need revsion to fix it?? ALSO does edema effect collumella ?? IF i derorate my tip will it fix it ?? Without having to cut my collumella? my collumella looks like that only when i smile in pic Its all stressing me out thank you
Hi. Im a 38yo female. Fit and well. I dislike my nose - especially on my side profile. It seems short/upturned with alar retraction and a hanging columella. Ive never had surgery before. Is it possible to have this surgically corrected? And if so what is the best way of finding a surgeon capable of doing a good job based in the uk? Most surgeons post results of fixing bumps/large noses, Im not sure who is best to approach for this (more specialised?) procedure. Thanks, Stacy
Hello, I have never had work done before on my nose. I have been insecure about the bottom part of my nose and upper lip area since I can remember, especially with my side profile. Can surgery be done to reduce the nostril show to make it more 90 degree shaped? Also can this surgery be done with local anesthesia? Thank you
I'm very self conscious of my nostril and tip area and want to know if I'm a good candidate for a rhinoplasty? I'm worried my case complex due to hanging columella or retraced alar? Does this require grafts?
Im 7 months PO from a primary rhinoplasty and my main area of concern was my nostrils. I wanted my hanging columella and nostril show reduced but as time goes on I feel like my dr didnt address these issues. Could I have some feedback please? My septum also shows more on one side from a below view and this wasnt previously an issue - why has this happened?
I feel if my philtrum was any longer it would throw off my facial harmony and I would become self conscious of it. I don't think I could get a surgical lip lift due to having ehlers danlos and increased scarring due to that and I do not want to have to get consistent lip injections as an alternative. But my nostril size and the way it dips upsets me- especially side profile. I also want to address the bulbous tip.but really want to avoid upturned snub or Barbie nose as well. Is this possible?
I've heard/seen so many horror stories when it comes to nose jobs. I only want to fix the bottom part of my nose (hanging columella and raised ala), where does this fall on the risk scale? I'm considering slimming my nose bridge but figure it's more risky, so I can live without it. I'm worried about injection, permanent disfiguration or ending up with a nose worse than my original! They say pick a qualified surgeon but seemingly qualified surgeons have reviews with botched nose jobs!
I really like some aspects of my nose, and I don't want to make it into a Barbie nose or too small for my face. I'm worried I'd make the space between my nose and mouth too much as well. But I don't like the bulbous tip. I like my nose a lot on my right profile, but left profile I hate. I don't know why (if anyone can see something let me know). I think there might be a hanging columella as well? And I don't like how wide my nose gets when I smile and how much it dips. Advice on what to do welc
Hi, I am looking to address the tip of my nose. I am unsure if I have a hanging columella, retracted alar rim, or both. My concern is mainly being able to see into my nostrils from the side profile which tends to be more obvious when I smile. Thanks
I am thinking about possibly getting rhinoplasty and would like some expert opinions. I feel that my nose does not offset my face evenly and is too short. Furthermore it seems to have a slight upwards turn with a hanging columella. Would I benefit from a rhinoplasty and if so what would be the best procedure. Thank you all.
