I had an acne breakout and developed an icepick looking scar on the bridge of my nose. Theyre new and have been there for a week but Id like to reverse the damage as much as I can. Im also going to have a rhinoplasty procedure (dorsal hump reduction and tip) done within 2 months. Would a nose job help in improving the appearance of the scar by stretching of the skin? Otherwise what can I do to improve how it looks? Thank you!
Wanted a nose job for years and am finally looking to get one done next year. I would want my bulbous tip reduced, dorsal hump flattened, nostrils reduced and for its crooked lean to the right to be corrected. Is this all possible/realistic? I also have acne prone skin and have heard this affects healing. Please give advice on what changes you would recommend and what can actually be achieved, thank you! (Sorry for the awkward photos just wanted to show it at all angles)
Hi I had my rhinoplasty done 18 days ago I knew there would be swelling but my cheeks and top lip are still heavily swollen aswell as my forehead along with minor headaches every now and then. Ive been to my GP and hes put me on prednisolone for the last 3 days and nothing has changed! Is this normal? I can barely move my top lip and Im pretty scared. My skin has also heavily broken out into what seems to be the worst acne Ive had. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you
Ive had my rhinoplasty 3 years ago. They took some of my rib to give me a defined bridge in addition to alar reduction. I noticed that since then, I have been getting acne on my nose. It is usually a big one that does not form a pus on the surface. As a result, you can see a big bump right smack in the middle of my nose. I usually have one big bump every two months. I get rid of them by using a sterile lancet, squeezing out the pus that is trapped underneath, then applying a colloid patch.
