My columella and nostril shape is unnatural looking. Im not sure how to describe the issue, but I can see that the shape isnt right. The columella is too big and triangular compared to the nostrils. How would a surgeon address this or describe the issue as Im not sure how to
I had a rhinoplasty this year February and its November the tip of my nose still hard and especially my collumella is hard and looks weird like its hanginge. Especially when i smile it looks weird is that normal? Will it change overtime as it softens or will i need revision? :( its really stressing me
Hello. I am hoping you can give me some advice. I had my rhinoplasty 6 months ago (next week). Please see attached photos. My columella is extremely tight and stiff and my tip rock hard. I know the swelling can take around a year or more to resolve. My question is, will the tightness of my columella resolve? I feel that I have a lot of extra space between my lip and nose. My nose doesnt when smiling/laughing. Als the bump in the circled photo, does this look normal?
Im over a year postop and i have all tjese irregularities on my tip, spots where my skin blanches and a red stripe, over my tip and entire columella, that get extra obvious when i smile. What could have caused this and how could it be fixed? My surgeon ghosted me unfortunately when i asked about other deformities..
My surgeon used a caudal projection graft to reproject and support my nose tip. I believe he attached it to my anterior nasal spine but its unclear from the operation report and I cannot get an answer from him. I believe it is whats causing an extreme feeling of tightness at the base of my columella. This is affecting my daily life as it is difficult to drink from a straw or comfortably close my mouth. Can this graft be removed? I have other grafts supporting my tip.
Septum is deviated to the right Sidewalls are uneven and way too wide Columella very crooked Nostrils are very uneven. Right nostril seems to be collapsed Bulbous tip Tip points left Dents on bridge
Over 6 months post op/ nostrils always been uneven- never noticed much due to swelling during early months however my columella seems deviated? Any ideas would be appreciated, I spent a lot Of money for my nose.
I got an open rhinoplasty May of 2023. While most swelling has gone down, my tip and columella is still very hard when touched, and appears very bulbous and has no definition. Could there still be swelling in this area? And how long would it take for it all to go down? Or, would this possibly require a revision rhinoplasty?
