I am going to get reconstructive surgery for saddle nose. I'm getting swelling, weird smells and discoloration outside of my nose. This is due to an awful mistake on my part. Should I inform my surgeon about the pulled stitch? I do not their for fear of my reconstructive surgery won't be covered if i do so. Thanks in advance
Hello 34 Hispanic male here. I generally like my nose but have always felt that the sides of my nose bridge had way too much skin. Hard to really explain with a picture it will be clear to see. I would like the skin to be pulled back/removed to reveal a slighter thinner bridge area.
I received a lip lift 4 months ago and it very much distorted my nostrils and nasal base. They are now pulled down and flared and I am very unhappy with this. It has changed my whole look. Im wondering if there is something less invasive than a rhinoplasty that can be done to fix this or if I would have to get a rhinoplasty?
I pull my nose up with my tight glasses to make it more upturned. Perhaps this is obvious (Im also not sure if this is the right sub to ask the question). Basically Ive been insecure about not having an upturned nose and noticed how easily it is to use my slightly tight glasses to pull my nose up a bit (with Bobby pins in the back). I know it sounds ridiculous but Ive asked other people and they said I look better! But will pulling the skin upalthough slightlyfor hours on end cause my nose to sag even more over time/result in weird wrinkles?
I had a closed revision (I had a open primary one) rhinoplasty and I asked for a de projection and lift my hanging columella. Now I regret it so much because its too lifted that I dont even have a tip. My question is, if this is a closed technique, how did he pull the columella up and is there a way to bring it down exactly as it was?
Ive been very self conscious about my nose recently and I notice it is really...there when I smile. The base of my nose is quite droopy in my opinion and when I smile, my nostrils pull back a bit and my nose just overall gets pulled down and makes it look really big. Would someone be able to explain what is actually the deal with this please? Thanks!
Hi Doctor I have one month ago rhinoplasty .It was 7 hour surgery and I have disovable stiches inside nose.I pulled them out yesterday by force ( while cleaning nose ) And my doctor told me that they should be inside nose for 6 month ! I am afraid my nose will become bigger and wider .What do U think about it ? Please I would appreciate ur answer. The stiches were inside nose at the middle ( bridge ) close to the top of nose connecting left and right side ....
It all started one year ago when I had ocd with how pointy my nose was, because once I realized I could see my nose at all times I got really bothered and started trying to pull it to make it less pointy. I know, I'm so so weird. Eventually I guess my nose got swollen because it wasn't as pointy anymore, but after that I just kept doing it as a nervous habbit, and now I've finally noticed I was doing it and stopped because now it's obviously.. big. Is this how a swollen nose looks?
