Had a great rhinoplasty (within realistic expectations) with slight discoloration on the bridge which I am okay with but the last few months Ive noticed a poking feeling cartilage peice under my nose. What could it be? What could have happened? I havent hit my nose super hard in the past 5 years, just the typical baby head butts. But no bleeding. Is there a revision in my future? Did something pop loose? Uhg. Stressed out. Any advice or theoretical situations will help me. Just trying to think
I am going to get reconstructive surgery for saddle nose. I'm getting swelling, weird smells and discoloration outside of my nose. This is due to an awful mistake on my part. Should I inform my surgeon about the pulled stitch? I do not their for fear of my reconstructive surgery won't be covered if i do so. Thanks in advance
2 weeks ago I noticed slight discolouration on nose tip with irregular structure. Today however it's more clear there's some irregularities with the shape of my nose tip, it looks bumpy and more crooked. Is this cause for concern?
Im almost 14 months post op and ive seen this weird orange discoloration on my tip before, but now its gettinf worse and its red ans visible now from the front view. Smetimes its more of a verticale line, and its where there is a dent in the cartilage. Its also next to a scar where skin was probably torn. I hav thin skin. Is my skin quality going downhill? My surgeon hasnt been helpful and im scared it will only get worse..
I'm a healthy 26 year old woman who lives a healthy active lifestyle and maintains my physical appearance. About 5 years ago I had a rhinoplasty. In surgery it was decided to use an implant in my nose, and now I am experiencing swelling, slight discoloration at the tip, and tingling. I immediately returned to the surgeon who did my nose. He says this is likely just an infection to a permanent stitch. I'm worried the implant itself might be infected. What are your thoughts?
Had a septorhinoplasty a year and a half ago. It appears that ever since my surgery, there seems to be discoloration or bruising on either side of my nose tip. I thought they were shadows for a long time. But after a high intensity workout at the gym yesterday, these spots actually turned darker/blue as my face flushed. What could this be? I was unable to get a clear photo, as they are very light and just look like shadows where the skin curves around the tip. Help!
I had rhinoplasty 8 months ago. After the initial first four weeks of healing, and once it was okd by my doctor, I started to gently massage my nose. The bridge and the tip. I did it for a couple of minutes every couple of days and only for two weeks.I noticed a dark circle around the tip of my nose. Theres no indentations, just discoloration that looks like a circle in pictures and in the mirror, both with or without makeup. Did I cause this?
I had rhinoplasty done over a year ago and I've had this small point of discoloration at the top of my nose since then. Everything else I'm happy with just not sure how to fix this discoloration. I've tried a yellow laser once but it didn't remove it. Any ideas?
-18 months after rhinoplasty - Noticed discloration starting around 9 months post surgery, seems to have gotten worse. - I did have a few small broken capillaries there from a prior injury even before my rhinoplasty, however it was hardly noticeable - I've had 4 lazer treatments, which did nothing or perhaps made it worse :( - I also tried a minor filler injection bc I was unhappy with the 'notch' on one side. This also didn't seem to help What are my options?
I had rhinoplasty performed 3 years ago. Recently it seems like there's a protruding piece of cartilage/bone on my nose bridge. Ever since surgery my nose bridge was very ridged and uneven but it wasn't visible. Now there's also some discolouration (very white skin) where the bump is protruding. I am worried it might get worse since I currently have to wear tight-fitting ffp2 masks every day, which seems to be the cause of it. What can I do?The skin seems very thin around that area.
