I had my rhinoplasty 10 years ago. I was super happy with the results. Unfortunately couple months ago I noticed cartilage sticking out of my nose tip, more on one side. It's getting more prominent and now I even have a dent in the middle of my nose tip. Cartilage is blanching the skin and is uncomfortable to press. Before I noticed this I had a horrible cold sore on my nose that left a scar. Could it be a reason?
Had rhinoplasty op over 10 years ago and now starting to notice the Ala Scar line around my nostril starting to show through my makeup. Please could you recommend the best treatment to remove or reduce this?
Hi. I got surgery to fix a deviated septum ~11 years ago (age 16) with some cosmetic work to get rid of a hump and lift the tip very slightly. Can't tell if it's just in my head or if it's actually getting worse as time goes by. It seems to lean to one side & I have a very pronounced good side. The most problematic part is the cartilage/where my nostrils are. What is the minimum I could do to fix this? Is a 2nd rhinoplasty required? Could it just be an issue with the cartilage & a simple fix?
An open rhinoplasty was performed on just my tip (no bone broken) back in 2005. One plastic surgeon told me my septum is deviated. The past few years I've noticed a foul-smelling (dirty socks) smell running from my nose. One plastic surgeon says this is normal with rhino patients. Is this normal? Could this be a fungus infection? Would this be a difficult revision surgery to straighten and reduce my collumella? Thanks you.
I had a nose job done over 10 years ago. Overall, I'm happy with the results but over time I've developed this small lump on my nostril. I think it's cartilage, it's bouncy when I touch it. Almost looks like it migrated to my nostril from the tip. I am not interested in having a full blown revision surgery, just in having this little lump removed. I included a photo of what I would hope for as a result. Is this possible? Would it be a major surgery to accomplish this?
I had surgery over 10 years ago. I am 65 years old and really hoping that I won't have to undergo another full-fledged surgery. I guess the implant I was given has shifted. Does it appear that a filler of some sort may restore the shape?
Ive seen plenty of doctors for consultations, they have all told me that I am a good candidate. Is it better to go for someone with an ENT background or a general surgeon when it comes to revision work? I have narrowed it down to the following doctors, I just need help with who has most expertise. - Dr. Daniel G. Becker - Dr. Andrew Frankel - Dr. Benjamin Swartout - Dr. Ronald Gruber - Dr. Rollin Daniel - Dr. Daniel Baker - Dr. Gilbert Aiach (Paris) - Dr. Dean Toriumi - Dr. Garth Fisher
