I'm thinking if it is a really strong magnet... could it somehow pull and warp the cartilage of the nose? would hate to cause any damage to a great result Or if it is a radio frequency could it cause reduction of facial fat? Not sure if these are reasonable or unreasonable assumptions/concerns... thanks for any info
Hi there, I recently had an MRI for an unrelated issue, and it seems to confirm what I suspected about my nose in that I have a deviated septum? I have issues with whistling in my nose however it comes and goes. Should I consider seeking confirmation of this and treatment? Many thanks!
3 years ago: incidental MRI finding of 1.5 mm stable pituitary lesion. 2 years ago: ER b/c headache & vomiting- MRI showed enlarged pituitary lesion w/ hemorrhage. Reason unknown. Last 2 years: 2 MRIs have shown stable & small pituitary lesion. Neurosurgeon suspects Rathke's Cyst or Cystic Pituitary Adenoma. In 2 days: cosmetic open rhinoplasty w/osteotomy, under general anesthesia. Could the general anesthesia or osteotomy possibly disrupt the pituitary lesion? Should I cancel the surgery?
I had rhinoplasty & septoplasty 2 1/2 months ago and 10 days post surgery started to develop extreme facial flushing/warmth and tingling in my face. At times it feels like my cheeks are burning and extends to my ears and down my neck. My face feels like I have a fever and looks flushed but the rest of my body feels normal. Despite seeing numerous specialists, bloodwork, and an MRI, no clear answers. A warm environment, warm beverage or hot shower only makes it worse. Appreciate any insight.
Hello, for a while I have wanted Rhinoplasty. For unrelated reasons, I recently had an MRI which showed what I think is a deviated septum. I suffer no symptoms from this. Now Gorgeous Getaways has said it would be best to get the Rhinoplasty done in Australia, rather than Thailand. My concern is that Rhinoplasty could interfere and make the deviation worse and or cause me symptoms. I would be wanting to reduce the size of my nose by removing the hump and making the tip smaller. Thank you :)
