Hello I had a rhinoplasty almost 2 years ago and Im unhappy with my breathing and appearance of my nose . I believe my doctor made my nose too small . I had a tip, hump , and nostril reduction. My nostrils collapse and and my breathing feels restricted. My nose feels so flimsy Im scared it will eventually collapse . Whats the best graft to make my nose bigger and restore my breathing ?
There's a bony callous that is on one side of nose bridge that's causing my nose to look lopsided. It's been 2.5 years since my primary rhinoplasty, and more than a year since I had minimal rasping done on top of my nose bridge to remove a small bump, but it wasn't near this area at all. Most of my swelling has subsided but this hasn't gone away and it feels hard like bone. My surgeon isn't taking my concern seriously. Worth getting a 2nd opinion to get it rasped down?
I had a major rhinoplasty in April of 2022. In August of 2023 I had a minor revision because I was still having breathing issues on my left side. My surgeon felt the nasal cavity on my left side was too small and that was what was causing the breathing issue. He enlarged it using a bone saw. Every minute since that day I have had pain in my lower septum radiating to my front teeth. I have had my teeth checked extensively several times and they are fine. Anyone have an ideas. I need relief.
Bump on nose grows 2 years post rhinoplasty. My doctor gave me 2 appointments for steroid shots. The first one seemed to work (Last year) and i was Pretty happy with the results, but the bump grew back. The Second appointment did nothing for that bump. It was two month ago.
I had a rhinoplasty procedure 30 months ago. The main purpose of the surgery was to reestablish the structure of the nasal bones which had been damaged by a severe blow to the face when I was wearing glasses ie the area damaged corresponding to where the nose pads routinely rest. The surgeon said this was possible using donated cartilage. I see no improvement in this area, rather it appears the cartilage was used either side of the middle third. I have developed a pollybeak deformity. Thoughts?
Male, mid 30s, 6ft, 12 stone. I am 2 years and 3 months post surgery and I still have swelling in my nose after septorhinoplasty. The swelling has reduced somewhat, since surgery, but still significant. When I tilt my head forward, or shake my head a little, I can feel heaviness in my nose. Also, when I wake up in the morning, my nose is larger, getting smaller as the day goes by. Why do I still have swelling after 2+ years, is there anything I can do about it? Thanks.
Good day. I went to see my ENT and when she examined my nose she used a metal tool to pry open my nostrils widely and she lifted my tip right up to see inside using this tool. Could this manouveringhave caused any structural damage to my nostrils and tip? I am almost 2 years post septo rhinoplasty (I did have major tip work done to lift it up). Thank you
Approximately 2 years ago, I had a rhinoplasty to reduce the size of my nose and straighten it. My septum was pretty straight right after surgery but my GP observed that my septum was deviated again about a year later. Nasal breathing issues were more pronounced post-op, a year later. I've also developed unshakeable eyebags that never existed before. My surgeon has said I have swollen turbinates and should use nasal spray to reduce all inflammation. Will this really resolve the issues?
Hi there! I had a septorhinoplasty in 2022 and by and large, I'm very happy with the results. One thing I've noticed, however, is this somewhat persistent and mildly irritating itching sensation on the left side, near the supratip break. Sometimes it feels like it's deeper in my sinuses and radiating towards my eye. It is not painful, just annoying. Could this be nerve damage? Is it likely permanent at this point?
