I am interested in a rhinoplasty surgery and would like to know whether this can be combined with treating a slight gap on my nose (to treat open roof gap deformity) I also have a small bump in the same area where the open roof gap is (on the nasal bridge) and wondering if both these issues can be adressed though surgery?
I had a type 3 forehead sinus setback a year ago and there is a small transition step between my forehead and nose. How can i fill in this gap to make the transition smoother? (mind that my forehead is maximally set back and cant be pushed back any further)
I got both rhinoplasty and nasal septum deviation 3 months ago. After a month of surgery, I stopped tapping for a month. I had so much swelling and noticed that the tip moved a little to one side. The graft moved to left side. I had a bone big nose with a big cartilage tipe. My surgeon thinks that might another surgery be needed after a year due to movement of the graft at the nose tip The graft is hard and I can feel the gap as I touch my nose. Any specific massage or tapping?
About 7 months ago I developed what I thought was just a blemish on the inside of my left nostril. I was concerned with the location of the blemish so I visited my dermatologist who ended up putting me on a antibiotic. The blemish seemed too be getting better but then returned even worse and more painful. I decided to pop it too release some pressure but it ended up causeing a large gap in my nostril. Will this heal on its own? If not, what can I do to fix this? Thanks so much!
I mean the cartilage separation is more than normal. My question is, can this bifid tip problem be fixed just by bringing that cartilage together. I mean the groove can be completely removed or It will be there even after reducing the gap between those tip cartilages?
2 months post-rhinoplasty, and theres a dent/gap on my nose bridge. I had an open rhinoplasty on Dec 17, 2018. In the pictures, you can see a dent on the right side of my nose bridge. It feels like a gap between my nasal bone and the bridge. Its sensitive and becomes uncomfortable when I laugh or yawn and its very noticeable in some lighting. Also, when I run my finger down my bridge, it feels uneven. I will be talking to my surgeon as I have an appointment later this month, but I thought Id come here in the meantime. Did I do something wrong while healing?
I'm feeling my front teeth (all) has moved forward and thus looks weird smile after rhinoplasty. Also, the sagging/gap between eyes and cheeks seems more as my nose was little big in the bridges although it was normal and good looking previously just for more correction I did it, which am regretting now. Totally am not happy with the changes on my face. But still hoping to know is this temporary? Or should I consider a revision? 6 weeks over by the time am done with my surgery.
I am 6 months post op open septorhinoplasty. Lots of issues ,can feel bone sticking out one side and theres a lump on the other but in the lower 3rd , there is a flat spot in the middle of my nose it dips in. I can feel a slight gap between the bones. My nose was much thinner previously , now wider but with breathing problems. I have to pull my cheek slightly to let a good flow of air through my nostrils. Any ideas what this could be?
I am 10 days post op after Open Rhinoplasty. My stitches we're removed but I have scabs left, when my doctor tries to remove it said that it was necrotic and now i'm scared i might lost my columella and there will be a gap. There was a ear cartillage strut placed on my columella. My doctor told me not to do anything about it and it's still under observation and i was put on antibiotics(co amoxiclav 625mg), Vitamin c (sodium ascorbate) and ointment (mupirocin).
