I am 20 months post op and I feel that my nose is getting worse with time. I am experiencing a dip in the middle of my nose, uneven nostrils and retraction, a bulbous tip and unaesthetic dorsal aesthetic lines. I feel like the bridge of my nose is also not even and I can see and feel asymmetry especially in photos. How can this be fixed and why is this happening now? I have thick skin and have received 3 steroid shots at 6,9 and 12 months. My surgeon wont tell me why this is happening !
I am 2.5 years post op. I only wanted the bottom half of my nose slimmed slightly and my tip lifted, however my nose now clearly dips, is much too small, and I've developed bony calluses near the top of my nose bridge. I did not have a good experience with my surgeon. What are my options now? And is it possible to form calluses like this when my nose was supposedly not broken? I did not want my bridge touched at all. I can tell my nose is still healing as it's swollen and tender.
Hello, im currently on 7months after the procedure and i really do like how the nose is looking. However only thing that im concerned about is that on the leftside i feel some type of dip or bump that makes the nose looks like its out of shape. Its pretty minimal and i do not feel it on the otherside because right side feels perfectly smooth and straight. In my case the leftside was operated more according to surgeon but im interested to know is this normal? (I have circled the are)
I have this small indentation on the top of nose ...almost like a small dip shaped like an inverted triangle ....,..it developed within the last 10 years ...what is it and how can it be treated
I am 6 months after surgery. My surgeon has told me I will take 2 years to heal as I have thick skin. He said that this is common and suggested a steroid injection to speed up my healing. He said I cannot get this injection in London. However, I am skeptical about this. Can perichondrium and fascia alone be used to augment the dip? Is there any risk of uneven resorption with this in the future? Can I be certain that it will provide a stable, long term result for my lifetime?
Can a dip on a nose after surgery happen to every surgeon? Or is it like a bad sign/red flag and i should avoid going to the doctor. I liked this one surgeon a lot but two people said they had a really small dip on her. What's your opinion about this?
I would like to remove the hump from my nose and maybe even have a dip. I prefer no scars. My current nose is on the left, the photoshop nose I want is on the right. Can I accomplish this with closed?
I am 19 male and I have a line on my nose bone as though my nose disconnected to the forehead. It's due to the bone structure and not a crease on skin. It seems as though bone is missing in that area causing a dip/line. I know nose filler is an option but I want a permanent solution. How can this be fixed? Please also tell risks/complications if any. Thank you.
I had in office rasping done 9 months ago to correct a small hump from an injury years ago. I love my right profile, but my left side shows the small dip, I dont mind the dip, but its pronounced on the left side making it look uneven. What is my best solution? -More rasping? -More time to heal? -Orcartilage graft? (I dont want to do this) -Permenant filler? Thank you!
Hi, I'm over 5 months post-op and my nose has dipped much lower than it was supposed to settle. I believe I have a saddle-nose deformity now because my doctor left me with too little septal cartilage. He claims he did 10 mm and that is what he always does but it definitely did not work for me. Attached is my before, morph, me on the table, and me currently. I recently got filler to fix the dip but do I need to worry about my nose getting worse and causing problems in the future?
