I am 42 years old, have never had any facial work done and have recently noticed that when I smile I have a very noticable horizontal fold or raised pouch of skin beneath my nose that measures about 1-1/2 long. What could cause this and more importantly, are there any non-surgical ways to lessen or get rid of it?
In 2020 I had rhinoplasty done to remove a dorsal hump. I was very happy with the procedure and the doctor. Now, the front of my nose, when smiling looks terrible. The alar crease is so prominent and now my nose looks like an arrow pointing downwards. It has slowly gotten worse over the years. I have an apt with my surgeon to go over things. Looking for some feedback?
I do not like the tip of my nose it is very round. I would like for it to be a bit narrow but Im not sure if is the tip of my nose if I just need to bring in the superior Alar crease in to make my nose appear smaller. I do not want a drastic change.
Im a 33 year old male. I hae always dislike the size and shape of my nose. I have also had it made fun of alot. It is very pointy and quite large for my small face. I want to improve it but a little apprehensive about full rhinoplasty. Would full rhinoplasty be the best for me or some reshaping? The left side looks worse to me due to more contours around crease making a more pointy shape.
Hello I am 8months PO i had rhinoplasty in March 2022. I have a crease between my top lip and nose this appears when I smile. My colunm and tip are very hard Will this crease disapper? Or am I likely to need more surgery? I can feel there is something there that is why my top lip cannot get right up to my nose when i smile
I like my face and nose but the only thing that really bothers me is that my alar crease is quite deep and i would like to know if fillers or some other procedure could smoothen it out. For example i have added a picture below. The 1st face being younger, having a smooth crease and #2 having a deeper alar crease
hi is there a way to shave my left nostril to create 'the crease' to match my right nostril fold? not the other way around? looking for a surgeon across the country (usa) who performs this technique.
Hi, I have a very deep and distinct alar crease, specially visible from the profile. Is it possible to get this removed or totally reduced in visibility during a rhinoplasty? One surgeon mentioned this is not possible to change this as it's genetics. Is this correct? Thanks in advance!
