9mpo from TT, BR, lipo. Right and upper side of navel is a hard lump, visible through skin, and hurts all the time. When i sit, aross my whole stomach, I feel like muscles cave inward/bend. I have signifiant skin/fat when i sit that its so uncomfortable. Even when laying there are folds in the skin. I have been to my dr multple times and he says nothing is wrong. I know something is. Tried other consults and they refer me right back to my dr. I need someone to listen and talk through.
Would it be considered an affront to request my Operative Summary / Surgical Notes from my surgeon? There are no issues, it's just that I really like owning my medical records (lab results, etc.) just in case I need to refer to them in future - I want to know exactly what's been done to me. If I ask for the surgical notes for my records - is this considered inappropriate or making them think I'm planning legal action or something? I don't want to create problems! Thank you.
During a consultation I have been told by a surgeon that I qualify for a full Tummy Tuck with a shorter scar. So more extensive than a mini Tummy Tuck where my belly button would be redone because loose skin be pulled from the top down but with a smaller incision than a usual TT. My fear is this may not remove all the loose skin I want and leave me with uneven bulges if the hip area loose skin is not taken along with fat removal if required? Im 49kg and 5ft 1 are my fears correct?
I have had four pregnancies and my upper stomach skin is loose. I am thinking of getting breast implants to fix a loss of volume and was wondering if I could have a reverse tummy tuck at the same time to tighten the skin.
Hi Everyone, Im reaching out to explore options for improving my abdominal area. My main goals are to achieve a more defined waistline, a flatter stomach, and to address some mild fibrosis resulting from a previous liposuction procedure. After completing my military service in 2012, I underwent liposuction/BBL in 2013 at Sono Bello in Beverly Hills. At that time, I weighed around 130 pounds ( I am 58 tall for reference). I am 45 years old. Unfortunately, the results were not ideal, but I moved forward and focused on my responsibilities as a single mom, balancing school and work. Now, I have finally decided to revisit this. Currently, I weigh 125 pounds, but I still have a persistent lower abdominal pooch and lack definition in my abdominal area. Im unsure whether I would benefit more from a mini tummy tuck with Vaser Lipo 360, or if lipo alone would be sufficient. I know that I don't want any ab etching, just a toned, lean & flat tummy. For further context, I have one adult son (age 25) and no other pregnancies. I am highly athletic and work out regularly. I do cardio, weight lifting, pilates, and yoga. I just want to trim all of the fat around my tummy and, for the love of God, get rid of my pooch! I have worked out consistently for the last 20 years. I eat pretty clean and healthy.
I really would like to get a tummy tuck I. The near future or do anything else meanwhile to tighten loose postpartum skin but Im dreading the long scar and wanted to know if its possible to get a tummy tuck w a shorter incision?
After two consultations hoping for liposuction or CoolSculpting, I was told by both surgeons that the baggage around my belly and abdomen was not fat but loose skin. I got a tummy tuck and was pleased with results but my waist measurement did not significantly decrease. I'm 63, the same weight and close to the same body fat percentage as I was in my 30's. My question is, why is my waist measurement four inches greater now than it was in my 30's? Is it increase in visceral fat? Do organs enlarge with age?
I'm 22 and relatively thin however after I had my baby my belly button has saggy, wrinkly skin and I have stretch marks all over my lower stomach and some loose skin. Is a tummy tuck the only way to correct these issues?
