I am 4 weeks post op my tummy tuck, with liposuction on front and posterior flanks. On my left side, right at my hip (where the tummy tuck incision ends) there is a hard lump. It was much larger right after my surgery; however, it still is LARGELY apparent. At my 3 week post op appointment, my doctor said this was normal and the swelling would go down. I have applied heat every day and massage the lump, but it is still there. Any suggestions on helping the process so I dont look deformed?
9mpo from TT, BR, lipo. Right and upper side of navel is a hard lump, visible through skin, and hurts all the time. When i sit, aross my whole stomach, I feel like muscles cave inward/bend. I have signifiant skin/fat when i sit that its so uncomfortable. Even when laying there are folds in the skin. I have been to my dr multple times and he says nothing is wrong. I know something is. Tried other consults and they refer me right back to my dr. I need someone to listen and talk through.
I would like to know if a tummy tuck or other procedure would smooth out the lumps and bumps on my belly. Istomach lipo 2 yrs ago and a mini TT for scar revision 4 years ago. I had gastric sleeve surgery 4 yrs ago that caused a hematoma post-surgery, that wasnt drained. So I have a hollowed-out area from that. I have lost weight and am basically at my goal weight of 130. I am 53 and 5'4. Any advice on a procedure that can smooth it out so I can wear a bikini again?
Hello all, i had surgeey over 200 days ago. I had many online consultations with my surgeon as to the kind of surgery best suited for me. I chose a TT plus additional lipo. Surgery went well. On arrival home i noticed a lump to on/below the incision to the right of my belly button plus nonsymetrical results on my hips. My surgeon said to give it time to settle and be patient. I since met my surgeon.my skin elasticity isn't great and that i need more surgery; a 360/back lift/lipo
I had my tummy tuck a year ago and this lump started surfacing. I went to my surgeon and he thought it may be a cyst because it seemed a bit squishy and slightly moveable. He inserted a needle into the lump to try and extract any fluids but it was solid. He prescribed antibiotics and wants to see me in two weeks and he said he wanted to make a small incision underneath it and try and pull out whatever it is. Do you have any ideas what this lump could be? Maybe scar tissue?
I am 3 months post op from a tummy tuck. My healing has been textbook, but I have this little hard lump under my incision just over my pubic area. I noticed it by month 2 and now that the swelling is decreasing every day, it's actually visible. It does not hurt at all and feels like one of those little bouncy balls from a vending machine. Could it be scar tissue? Should it be going away by 3 months?
Hi I had a 360 tummy tuck approx 7 months ago. Ive had no complications but Ive noticed just above my bikini line I had lumps that seemed to have appeared. I can feel them more when I stand up and they seem to go when lay down. I used to have regular lymphatic drainage massages but stopped due to the expense. Can anyone advise what these are and how to get rid of them please.
I've already asked if this could be a muscle repair failure, but wanted to ask if it could be anything else. As you can see from pics, lump isn't visible when standing. Only lying down. I had a seroma at 2 weeks PO in that area which was aspirated. Could that be the cause of the hard lump, or maybe fat necrosis? I can feel the hardness to left of my belly button but also behind my belly button if I press inside it. Right side of stomach is soft. Thank you
I had a Tummy Tuck 12 weeks ago. I feel a lump about 1/3 of an inch slightly above the belly button and another smaller one below the breastline. When I sit for about 5 minutes or more and I go to stand it is uncomfortable. It takes a few seconds before I feel better. Is this common? What can I do about it?
