feeling like I constantly have flu like symptoms..headache ,muscle soreness on the outside of my arms and legs ..body generally sore and aching .very fatigued..this had been going on and off for 8weeks ..My surgeon did full bloods and said my results were ok ...Im very confused as to why this is happening ..my scar is healing ok still a bit sore under the scar area but expect that to take time to heal ..
I have had this one spot on my TT incision that at about 3 wks started oozing PS said spitting suture was to blame and they tried to get suture out but it was to deep so he said cover it and put ointment on it which I have been doing for 4 weeks it's recently formed a blister he saw it yesterday and said skin healing over it but poked it to open it back up and it was bleeding but he said thats good. Will this ever heal? Will my body absorb it? Or spit it out? I really worry about it! Thank you!
Ive been wearing my medical compression garment for almost 7 weeks post op- continuously. I had lipo in flanks, arms, abdomen, and also full TT and buttocks fat graft. At which point do I switch to something like spanks, and when can I stop wearing the arm sleeves? Also, when can I workout again?
Two of the holes opened up around 3 weeks post op and have slowly been healing but last week at 8 weeks post op another opened up. The skin over it was so thin and the PS pushed on it and blood came squirting out. Now I have a new hole to deal with? Please tell me these will heal up. I feel like I made a mistake having this surgery! These holes are all on the right side of my incision area. The left of my incision area seems to look perfect. I don't get why this has happened to me.
I had A tummy tuck November 8th, and last night I noticed that my belly button was draining a clear discharge. It had a smell to it. I have had discharge from my belly button before which looked clear and bloody, but that was at 2-3 weeks post op. I noticed I have a long stitch sticking out in the inside of my belly button that has been there since day one.. Its just not long enough to be cut. My belly button does not look infected or hurt. Its just that discharge coming out from the inside.
Full abdominoplasty Dec 18. Now 9 weeks post op. By week 4 all initial swelling had calmed down and was flat (see pic). However by week 6 nurse referred me back to surgeon as was concerned my belly was protruding and hard - kept asking if pregnant! He ruled out anything serious, said just lymphatic drainage not draining quickly. Pubic area still like a balloon - is that normal? Now I look pregnant when I remove compression garment. Having weekly massage. Very scared this may be permanent. Help!
12.21.18 250cc breast implants (love) umbilical hernia repair, mini tum tuck. Ledge on long scar. dr said asymmetry in my body Said bellybutton has hooding cannot be fixed without major scaring. Says flabby skin is normal. I'm 39, 5'4 110lbs, 2 kids naturally. Just wanted wrinkly skin tightened. Does this look normal? Cleared me for all exercises, assuming totally im healed. Second opinion? Im so disappointed with my bellybutton and loose skin. Shouldn't it be tight?! Thanks for your advise.
I had a tummy tuck and breast implants 8 weeks ago. Before surgery I was deadlifting 300lbs, squatting 250lbs and bench pressing 145lbs. Im putting the amounts because when I ask when can I lift heavy again people think 50lbs is heavy. When can I start working my way towards these weights again? I just need to know Im not going to cause damage to anything since surgery.
Im 2 months post op of a tummy tuck with lipo. I stopped wearing my faja at about 6 weeks because Id just had enough of it and I feel comfy without it now. Is this going to effect my overall result or are they purely just to reduce swelling? Thanks.
I had my tummy tuck 10 weeks ago and I feel that my swelling is not getting any better or its a very slow process. Beneath my belly button is a bit uneven. Ive read that it can take up to 6-12 months to get the full effect but to to me I cant see much of a difference as of yet. Ive added before and after pics
