Im 38 and was diagnosed with congestive heart failure almost 2 years ago. Since Ive been taking meds, I have no complications. No shortness of breath, no hospitalizations, NOTHING! Its been a breeze. However, Im 53 and 258 pounds. I have a high BMI. I originally wanted a BBl, but a tummy tuck would work for now. Im small at the bottom and big at the top and I hate to! I want this stomach gone now.
Hello. I'm scheduled to have a tummy tuck along with a BBL. I have a left bundle branch block but I only go into LBBB when I'm very stressed or nervous but my structure is good and strong in 32 year old female. My cardiologist (ep) cleared me for the procedure and said I'm very low risk. Will having a LBBB on and off when I'm nervous stop my surgeon from doing my procedure even though he has a cardiac clearance?
I have already discussed this with my cardioloigist and he said he would have no problem approving me for a tummy tuck. I am on beta blockers daily to control my svt. With the ok from my cardiologist would that be enough for most doctors? Or is there anything else I need to do? I am very good health overall besides my heart issues.
In November of 2016 I was dx'd with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome and I am on 12.5 mg of metoprolol to slow my heart rate. I get dizzy often and my heart races still but I want the Tummy Tuck. I'm down to an 18 from 24 hoping to lose more of course but it seems that my belly pulls giving me pain in my back and lower abdomen. I also have fibroids so that could also be the abdomen issue.
I'm going to see a cardiologist before my surgery but would like to know if any doctors on here have performed these surgeries on someone with heart palpitations and if so were there any complications during surgery as well as during recovery. Did it increase the stress on the heart possibly making the palpitations worse.?
My heart disease scar runs horizontally across my entire breast line. I am fit, healthy and non smoker/drinker. I have a generous 3 finger width recti diastasis and fat on the lower belly. It's not major but gives me that early pregnancy look & I have stretch marks in my lower belly. I understand that a typical tummy tuck is not suitable due to lack of blood supply from the top. Would a reverse tuck be able to fix the recti and does this mean my stretch marks would lift to all over my stomach
