Persistent pain and sensory abnormalities after abdominoplasty. I am very upset that I ever got this surgery, because a year after this life changing surgery, I have discomfort and tightness in the area. When my twins squeeze my belly area, the skin actually hurts. It's painful. Let's say a button, or belt buckle rubs on it, it hurts. I have this hard ball near the incision area. Can a pseudobursa be causing this. Surgeon ignored the possibility of a seroma. I'm so unhappy because of the pain. Please help. My surgeon is sloppy. Don't direct me to him.
I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair 15months ago and just the last month or so had had a tightness feeling which c obut not painful. Could this be related to inflammation from salty food or likely sound a problem? It wasnt happening a couple of months ago, no sign of muscle repair failure no bulges but just seems right at times and Im swelling on and off, what could cause this? After the surgery I lost around 10/12 lb but have put 7 back on but this does not exceed weight on day of.
Hi, I had a Tummy Tuck w/ No Lipo and Monsplasty procedure done in May 2023. I was told Not to get Lymphatic Massages because it was not necessary. Now I am 8 months post-op and my lower belly is swollen and still pretty tight. Can I get lymphatic massages to make the swelling go down or is this normal?
Hi! I was in a pretty severe car accident in the rear seat, I suffered a fractured spine and sternum. My abdomen was swollen on right, above hip but I chalked it up to from the seatbelt.. fast forward almost 5 months its still there and painfully tight. My GP ran tests and sent me to specialists and found nothing. I see my PS next week but could the seatbelt of ruined my tummy/muscle tightening? I look deformed. See picture.. prior plastics, a week prior to accident and now.
my procedure was done 1 1/2 years ago, I still experience a sensation of tightness in the abdominal area. it is uncomfortable but not painful. My surgeon continues to tell me there is no problem. Should I be more concerned?
I am 9 months post surgery. I understand these are my permanent results. I am swollen and have a lot of tightness. Especially from my mid to lower tummy. It actually hurts when I stretch or when I do ab exercises. What could be wrong? I do have a surgeon but I would like a community opinion. My surgeon is board certified & tenured, but keeps telling me give it time :( I didnt even want a full tuck, only a mini. Button is flat bc i dont have enough fat. Before& after photo included.
Well I feel so horrible by my wound opening up. I am 54 and when I when into surgery I was at my heaviest at 217. I had a BBL in December. So I decided I wanted to a breast lift and tummy tuck. I am 14 days post op. I did have a Hx of smoking but I quit last October. My abdomen looks round a swollen and I feel like my skin is so tight in my abdomen I will never be able to stand straight. I am feeling defeated as depressed. Tomorrow I have a follow up with my doctor
It has been 3 years since my tummy tuck...I'm miserable. It is so tight that I can't wear anything but elastic. When I exercise the muscles will go into spasms. I have no waist anymore and look like I'm 3-4 months pregnant. Is there anyway to fix this???
I had a tummy tuck with mr 1/26/23 . For 8 months I been experiencing pain extra stiffness and tightness. My mobility and range of motion has been restricted from many things. I started working out in my 5 month of recovery. Im thinking I did too much and pulled a muscle or separated some stitches. Can you please share as a professional board certified surgeon in plasti what you think about this? Thank you so much!
I asked previously but I didnt have pics at that time. I have had a 360 tt and lipo to flanks & a thigh lift. My right thigh I feel is botched. One photo immediately after the surgery and other photos showing how its healed. What can I do to make it tlook the same as my other thigh? Also pictured, my left hip is totally flat, like skin on bone it feels like. Is there anything that can fix this to make me look curvy again instead of showing exactly where my bones are? Any advice appreciated
