I had hernia repair, muscle repair and tummy tuck surgery March 31. A couple of weeks ago I went to have it checked because it was still oozing and irritated. The surgeon noticed a white spot that he claimed was a dissolvable clamp and he cut a piece of it out. Today I noticed another white spot just like the first one. My question is, could this be something accidentally left inside of me or is there really such a thing as a dissolvable hard plastic clamp used in the belly button area?
Im not sure if u can tell from these pictures I have had my navel packed by myself once for 4 days and this is what it looked like today when I removed he pack it had some leakage and it is a little bloody with some white spots and the stitches are starting to fall out. Are the white spots normal healing? I put peroxide on it to clean it I let it dry and then packed it again with ointment gauze -see picture for the brand etc. should I just use neosporin instead of this ointment gauze?
Infection? I have white spots on my incision but I dont think its infected. what is the cause of them? Red spots, they began appearing this morning all over my body, no new lotions or meds, I just finished my course of antibiotics. what could be causing them?
I had a circumferential Tammy tuck almost 4 weeks ago. The front portion of my incision has some white spots appear. When I went to see my PS he tried to drain what he said was fluid but nothing came out when he placed a needle in the area and applied pressure. Last night a small hole opened in one of the white areas and I literally poured a yellowish, bloody fluid. On call PS said it was Seroma and to keep it covered until seen Monday. What can I expect from here as far as healing and treatment
It is almost 5 weeks since TT and I have a white spot on my BB that won't seem to go away. Want to be sure it looks okay. Is there anything I should be doing for it? I use neosporin on it. Have put manlike honey on it as well. I do not keep it covered in the Faja with gauze anymore. It has been dry not crusty. The Close looks worse than it is in my opinion.
