Just had my 1 year pot op tummy tuck fu a few weeks ago. I expressed my concerns and was told it's nothing to be concerned about to come back in 1 year. I feel fluid or air or gas under my skin in the lower abdomen, and around my belly button feels a little squishy at times. I noticed this back in June. If I pressed on it, it literally made a crackle noise and still does. It does come and go, and sometimes I can massage it away. What is this? Should I be concerned? Will it ever go away?
I had a tummy tuck 13 months ago. I did not have enough skin to remove so consequently I have a t-scar. This T-scar Shows my prior belly button piercing holes and is also slightly indented. Would you recommend anything to improve the appearance of this t-scar? overall, I am extremely happy with the outcome of this entire procedure. I have a follow up with my surgeon soon as well.
Will i ever get full mobility back? No lipo, only vertical sutures on lower abdomen. I still wanted ab separation as I compete in body building. 200g skin removed. Still very tight, not the muscle but the skin. I can't even fully stretch otherwise I can feel my skin so tight that it restrains me from fully doing so. Will this ever be normal?
Hi, I had tummy tuck last year with permanent stitches to close my 2cm wide diastasis recti and absorbable stitches around belly button and incision line. Now according to both ultrasound and ct scan, I have two granuloma sutures (scar tissue) above my belly button. Theyre hurting me if exercise. My PS said she used permanent sutures to close the muscle four stitches above and three stitches below belly button. Is it okay to remove all permanent stitches without replacing?
The surgeon who did my surgery checked to see if there were any remaining sutures and did not find any and has just brushed me off by saying it will heal by itself. I have now gone to another surgeon who did a ultrasound which my Surgeon refused to do and has said that I have a 5mm to 7mm cavity leading to my ambilicalcord. Can someone PLEASE advise me how this could be fixed? And if it would close on its own. I am so depressed please help Update: Just to add I have had swabs taken from my belly button which confirmed I don't have an infection
I have a tummy tuck over a year ago and Im pretty happy with the results. Other than I feel like I still have fat sides. I went to three different consultations and they all said no liposuction with procedure was needed. May because the area that bothers me is more hip but Im trying to see what can I do to improve it and what also would be an option for the scar. Its too low on hips and shows when wearing any kind of clothing cut
I had my tummy tuck a year ago and this lump started surfacing. I went to my surgeon and he thought it may be a cyst because it seemed a bit squishy and slightly moveable. He inserted a needle into the lump to try and extract any fluids but it was solid. He prescribed antibiotics and wants to see me in two weeks and he said he wanted to make a small incision underneath it and try and pull out whatever it is. Do you have any ideas what this lump could be? Maybe scar tissue?
I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair 15months ago and just the last month or so had had a tightness feeling which c obut not painful. Could this be related to inflammation from salty food or likely sound a problem? It wasnt happening a couple of months ago, no sign of muscle repair failure no bulges but just seems right at times and Im swelling on and off, what could cause this? After the surgery I lost around 10/12 lb but have put 7 back on but this does not exceed weight on day of.
