Updated: Tummy tuck & BBL. - My belly button was not on the right side. She was too busy to get off the phone when she marked me and marked my line off-center. Never was my belly button to the right of my center. She has avoided me from the first office visit after surgery when I asked about it. Beware of doctors that blame the patient. .
I am 4 weeks post op my tummy tuck, with liposuction on front and posterior flanks. On my left side, right at my hip (where the tummy tuck incision ends) there is a hard lump. It was much larger right after my surgery; however, it still is LARGELY apparent. At my 3 week post op appointment, my doctor said this was normal and the swelling would go down. I have applied heat every day and massage the lump, but it is still there. Any suggestions on helping the process so I dont look deformed?
I have a tummy tuck over a year ago and Im pretty happy with the results. Other than I feel like I still have fat sides. I went to three different consultations and they all said no liposuction with procedure was needed. May because the area that bothers me is more hip but Im trying to see what can I do to improve it and what also would be an option for the scar. Its too low on hips and shows when wearing any kind of clothing cut
I'm 4 weeks post op from a full Tummy tuck with muscle repair and Liposuction to hips and flanks. For the last 2 weeks, I hear popping sounds and sometimes I feel popping sensations in my belly. Is this normal? If it's a suture, would I feel any pain or discomfort? Is this just part of healing?
So I previously asked a question and many doctors said from the look of it I may need a tummy tuck. I love to wear high rise bathing suits. Does the scar need to be from hip to hip? I would hate for it to show, and hate how long the tummy tuck scar is. That is the main reason I am avoiding the procedure. Are there shorter scars that don't extend to the hips? Or does it need to be from hip bone to hip bone?
I am two weeks post op for my tummy tuck. My surgeon said my tummy tuck consisted of the hip bone to hip bone method with a T shape at the bottom. The left side starts on the hipbone but the right side goes up my back. Was this a mistake? Its very uncomfortable. It feels like my back is burning every time I try and stand. I also hate the scar. I thought the my tummy tuck would be discrete and not really noticeable. This scar on my back proved me wrong.
I'm a mom of three interested in tummy tuck, liposculpting of abdominals and hips, and fat transfer to glutes. In what order do you recommend I have these procedures? How many operations are required to achieve them? How much time for recovery is needed between each? Thank you.
35, no children, lost about 50lb 15yr ago. 3 consults, Drs suggested different procedures. Goals: defined waist, fuller, rounder butt/hips, mons reduction Breast Aug - modest/natural looking. All Dr suggest implant vs. Fat transfer (1st choice) Dr. 1 - Circular TT, lipo, BBL Dr. 2 - Lower TT, lipo, BBL + labiaplasty (not interested) Dr. 3 - 360 lipo, BBL, Vaser tightening Due to recovery/scarring, not fully wanting TT, more opposed to CTT. Can I achieve a good result w/o TT?
