I am 5'3 and 115lbs.I was diagnosed the other day by a local doctor in my area with an umbilical hernia and diastasic recti and need a full tummy tuck. The doctor also said I needed to gain 5-10lbs in a partial jokingly way.I am also a long distance runner and was thinking my running could improve with a stronger core?Since I have little fat to work with, will my results look unnatural? Can you recommend a surgeon in the Houston area that has worked with slimmer women?Thank you for your help.
I am 49, 5 '6, 125, had tummy tuck with light lipo on hips & flanks 4 months ago. I look like I still need a tummy tuck! Please tell me if something looks wrong to you or just maybe a lot of swelling. The puffy stomach & thick body make me wish I never had surgery! No pre-pictures but pre-surgery I had a thin middle with excess skin due to pregnancy (carried pregnancy mainly in the front). Now my entire middle is thick & I look like a man. I waited years to treat myself, now I look worse.
I have had both a tummy tuck consult and a liposuction consult. I was told the tummy tuck was not a good idea because there wasn't enough skin to pull down, and I would end up with a scar where my belly button was. As for liposuction, the doctor said she wouldn't advise it because there wasn't enough squishy there to suck out. She said she could do my flanks, but wasn't certain it would provide the result I wanted. 5'7 128 lbs. 56. Morpheus8 on my stomach helped a little. Coolsculpt not great
Hi I have loose skin on my upper abdomen. I went for a mommy makeover consult with a great surgeon. He felt I was too thin and didnt have enough laxity to justify such a huge operation. Fair and appreciate the honesty. So what can I do? He didnt suggest any lasers. He leans more surgical. Does anyone have any suggestions. I am 40 this year and have a 2.5 year old and 11 month old. So I had back to back babies. 52 and 113 lbs. Thanks.
I am 55, 120 lbs. Ive had 3 children and lose mainly in the middle and upper part of my belly. I can barely pinch any below the belly button. I am also a breast cancer survivor & would like to have a revision on my implants due to rippling. I dont see a log of doctors showing reverse tummy tucks, but it seems like where I need the work. If Im already getting a cut below my breasts, it seems convenient but would love a professional opinion.
Im afraid of the scar for tummy tuck however I wasnt sure if its what a I need I have a little bit of loose skin above the belly button and have been told I needed a tummy tuck to correct is it possible to do skin tightening and liposuction? Female age 37 3 kids (2004/2015/2019) healthy, 50, 110lbs
I had a pyloromyotomy when I was an infant. I feel they stitched up my skin on the upper abdominal locking it in place. Ive always been small 56 115-120Ibs. But no matter how small I am my stomach holds these pockets of skin that look like fat. I had one cosmetic procedure where she opened up the scar and released some of the tension which improved the appearance a little- but not completely. What other work can I get done to smooth it out?
I'm 5'4, 113 lbs (same weight for the last 20 years), healthy female. I developed severe bloating 24/7 immediately post-op umbilical float with umbilical hernia repair and abdominoplasty. I also had breast implants (silicone 255 cc). I am a little over 1 year post op and still have severe bloating and was also diagnosed with SIBO. After 3 rounds of Rifaxamin (anti biotic), my symptoms have not improved. I was fine before surgery- what could be going on?
I've had three children via C-section, and a hysterectomy. I am 5'2 and 112 pounds and exercise a few times a week. Although my stomach looks flat when I am standing up, I have skin that hangs down when I bend over, with a few stretch marks that make it look gross. Would laser skin tightening be effective, or would I need a Tummy Tuck to correct this?
