Tummy Tuck + Itching Q&A

Im 21/2 years after my surgery and still badly itchy from my belly button Im and Im below. Like cant stop pushing at it cause its internal. Also the skin dries up the track on the outside. Any suggestions I cant deal with it. It wakes me at night its really bad all day long too. Ive tried cortisone cream and it doesnt make a difference.

Hi. Its been 2yrs since my tummy tuck & muscle rep& it has never stopped itching. Intially it was a light external itch that could be rubbed lightly or controlled with Benadryl. At about 8 months post opt internal itch began. Its a deep under the skin annoying itch. It cant be scratched. Its like the muscle itches under the skin. Flexing my abs repeatedly can sometimes relieve the itching. The itching comes and goes. I experience this at least once a week. Is this normal? Wat shld i do

I had a tummy tuck 13 years ago, and i still have severe itching above my belly button, 24-7. I have to used itching cream all the time, what can I do to make the itching go away, thank you.

My belly is far from being flat. My doctor (nor from us) says it scar tissue thats swollen and it should go down. And I also have severe itching on and off during the day. I dont know if I will ever have a flat abdomen and if its actually swelling? And also whats the itching all about? Can somebody please help me how can I reduce the itching? Its very uncomfortable as summer is approaching and I wear the compression garment all the time.

Im two weeks post op (tummy tuck & back lipo combo). I get extremely itchy for moments always wear a cotton shirt under my garment but sometimes it gets so irritating I have to take some allergic medicine such as Benadryl. How can I make it better? Also, Im wearing size M garment but the inferior part (opening to use the bathroom is) puts a lot of pressure on my puvic rea making more swollen & uncomfortable, should go up in size? Or theres something else I can use to ease that discomfort?

I am 16 days po of having a full tummy tuck. At night, my back and belly itch like crazy. I took a Benedryl and it didn't even touch the surface if relieving my itchiness. I even out Allegra cream on my skin. It's not my incision that's itching, it's my belly and back. I wish I could sleep without the binder in my I do not feel comfortable without it. Any suggestions?
