Hello, I am a 39 year old woman. I have never been pregnant, but I have quite the pouch and some fat rolls. The muscles under my abdominal fat seem to be tight. I have read about lipoabdominoplasty and am wondering if it is suitible for me or if a regular tummy tuck would be better. I am also interested in getting an idea of costs for lipoabdominoplasty in the Orlando, Florida or Tampa area. I appreciate any information and advice you are able to offer.
Hello, Im supposed to be having surgery in a few months but Im having a few second thoughts. I was told I didnt need a tummy tuck but I feel I do as I have loose skin, especially by my belly button where fat is limited, and a tummy pooch. However, I would also like to get a fat transfer to my hips onlyIm just unsure what would be the best action to do first and many surgeons Ive come across wont do both unfortunately unless I travel to Miami.
I had 2 C-sections. I weighed 220lbs on day of surgery, height 5’2” after loosing 70lbs with a gastricband. I had a huge apron. I got a tummy tuck + Muscle repair + lipo + love handles removed before 7 weeks. I have a nice lower tummy but my upper belly is huge unlike before surgery. As I have a gastricband, my surgeon said he worked his best on the upper belly but had to be careful about the band. They took 13lbs off me in surgery but weigh the same before surgery. Worried about my weight and my upperbelly.
I had a full Tummy Tuck almost 3 months ago. I am in excellent health, don't smoke, never had children. When sitting, my belly rests on my thighs. When bending, my stomach hangs. When standing, my tummy looks fat and paunchy. I can pinch chunks of skin (fat?) above and below my belly button. Not tight at all. This doesn't seem normal to me after Abdominoplasty. My doctor says I'm near my final results and not swollen. He says I need Liposuction to eliminate the flab (fat), which I think may make my stomach look worse. Opinions or suggestions please.
After my Tummy Tuck 9 months ago, I still have a pooch in my lower tummy. I can suck it in, but it is still noticable. I know there is no muscle damage or separation because it is still very firm. Is this an area that will need Liposuction? The pooch is pretty much along my incision line. Can it still be just swelling?
I had my surgery 11/2021. Had some complications with my incision. It got infected. They had to dig the staples out. When they took the anchor it left a big hole in the center. Was sorta a nightmare. My doctor didnt recommend massages. Said they were not needed. Now I have this weird pooch that sticks out. Is there a reason why and a way to fix it?
I had a tummy tuck 18mos ago. 2 years prior I had full abs, 2mos prior small waist with loose skin, very minimal fat. I workout regularly and have a controlled/clean diet most of the time. Prior my stomach would fall into itself laying down and now stays out and is hard. Very obvious lower abdomen pooch and muffin tip over scar. 15lbs lighter than before surgery, it's not fat. My jeans and panties don't fit, I had to go up a size.
Im 52 175lbs and workout regularly but nothing changes with my pooch! Im planning on having a breast reduction as well as a tummy tuck and wanted to know if my expectations of having a flat figure are achievable.
I had a tummy tuck last year and still have a pooch in my lower belly. I thought it may still be swelling after 6 months so I went back to see my surgeon and was told it was visceral fat. He also told me I had bloating and that going on a lactose free diet may help. He said if I lost 2-3 lbs and continue doing my sit ups, which I had been doing since 6 weeks post op, I would see a difference. I lost 11lbs, do my sit-ups daily and stopped lactose. Its still there. Any suggestions??
I am 5'9 155lbs, no children, 39 yrs. Always thin arms and legs, but always pot belly pooch. I know pics are desired. But are there certain things that are dead give-aways when making this choice? I want a flat tummy.
