I lost about 65 pounds following gastric sleeve in 2015 and lost an additional 40 pounds over the last 5 years working with a trainer and weight lifting. (Not that you can even tell in these pictures) I have had several consults. Weirdly, men surgeons are recommending 360 TT whereas the females surgeons are saying extended TT would be fine (cutting to the table). I am looking to the brilliant community for opinions. I am 49, five foot four and 155lbs. I have had three children with my oldest in their 20s, am obviously done having children. I have front, side and bent over photos for reference. :(
Hi. Ive lost 80lb over the past 2 years. Holding steady at 168 and 511. Do you think I need a Fleur de lis? Im also contemplating ETT vs CTT (with or without FDL). The less scarring and cuts to heal the better, but I want to look nice and smooth and not have to do any revisions down the road.
Want to have more kids eventually. I had a 10lb son in April 2020. Unfortunately, a month later he passed from SIDS. Since his death, I look down at my stomach with sorrow and disgust. Are there any non-surgical procedures that would get rid of lower belly fat/tighten the skin? Would I qualify for a mini tt? Would a full TT be recommended? If I want to eventually have more children? I'm 5'11, 165lbs, & 32 years old. Down 70lbs since early 2023 through diet/exercise. What are my best options with a future pregnancy(s) in mind?
Hi, I've had a gastric sleeve on 8/19/2024. I'm 5'2 , I went from 216 lbs to 160 lbs and my weight loss is still ongoing. My stomach has been my biggest insecurity. Even when my BMI was relatively normal in the past, my stomach never went back to flat after my pregnancy 10 years ago. I really don't want to get a tummy tuck unless that is the only option left for me. I've read about Smart Lipo could help tighten skin while taking out fat. Would that be a great option? any other suggestions?
I''m 37, 5'10, 155lbs. At my worst I was I was 280lbsIt's not the first time I've gained and lost weight. I've consulted with about 5 different surgeons, and no one ever mentioned my needing a fleur de lis 360 procedure until the final consult, with the surgeon I like the most. He only said that my result would be 20-30% better, but it's my choice. Does it really look like it would make that much of an improvement given the extra scar?
Hi, I am 56 and fluctuate between 150lbs-160lbs. My heaviest weight was 220lbs from my 1st pregnancy of 6, 72lbs weight gain. I have been given the option to choose either procedure (pictures included) however if the inverted T is not necessary to give me the best results I would prefer not to have to heal unnecessary incisions. The little info I find tells me I dont fit the criteria to choose the T incision and would really appreciate your educated opinion. Thank you!
Age: 36, Female, nonsmoker Weight: 160 lbs height: 5'3 Previous surgeries: I've had 2 c-sections and finished having children. I would like to get back to my pre pregnancy body. Any advice is appreciated! I would prefer a drainless procedure if possible.
Hello, I am in good health, no underlying health conditions, have a healthy diet, never smoked, only drink once or twice a year. I'm 55 and weigh 155 lbs. In 1999, I donated my left kidney, it was an open nephrectomy without complications. My kidney function is great. I want to know if it is an issue to have a tummy tuck, MR and lipo to the flanks with the abdominal scar? The scar runs parallel to my rib cage on my left side. Thank you so much.
Ive been wanting to get a tummy tuck for a long time now . In the pastwanted to get a bbl and got turned away by doctors due to me having ulcerative colitis . Ive had it controlled for years now Ive been on infusions of inflectra for years now . I am 32 years old and weigh 152 . Im very active and gym isnt getting rid of this stubborn fat
Im 41 years old,5'5 and 160lbs. Lost 100+ lbs about 14 years ago via gastric bypass surgery. Not until recently did my loose stomach skin bother me. I live in the land of plastic surgery yet im having a heck of a time researching a Dr. that would preform a skin only tummy tuck. I do not need muscle repair..I do not need lipo. I do not need perfection..lol. just need this nasty loose skin to be cut away. PREFERABLY under local anesthesia.
