I'm interested in a tummy tuck. If I'm not a candidate for the FDL tummy tuck and get an extended TT, could my previous vertical scar be removed? Thank you. Hi, Im one year with a bbl tt/mr lipo surgery. For about 4 months now after I was able to start working out, I begin to feel an extra tightness stiffness and discomfort in my man area. I contacted my surgeon. He said it was to far in my post op for anything to go wrong with my surgery. He suggested I get a MRI done, which nothing was found wrong with my complaint. Ive taken also a sonogram of the abdominal wall, again nothing was found relating to my constant complaints. Can you please help me
I'm 3 months post op and everything was fine until yesterday. I've been feeling a consistent burning, tearing pain in my upper left ab area. It doesn't feel normal. I got the okay from my doctor to do ab workouts which I've been doing, but now I feel like maybe something is tearing. I have a belly button that has been closing so I have been keeping a bead there to keep it open until my next appointment. I wonder if keeping something my belly button is causing damage.
I had a full abdominplasty with muscle repair 13 days ago and yesterday I caught my daughter falling off the bed and I felt a tight burning sensation and today I am so sore and still experiencing the burning sensation. Is it possible I tore my muscle repair? How do I find out?
I am 3 weeks post tummy tuck and in bed I usually turn to the side to get up. Today I almost fell all the way back and by natural reaction and (not thinking)I got up and did a full on sit up and felt my abdomen flex. I tried to support myself and somehow did another sit up and my abdomen flexed even more. Besides pain control and rest, is there anything else I should do?is it possible I tore any sutures internally? Thank you.
I had a tummy tuck 2 weeks ago and my stitches have come apart. My PS stated that the wound will heal itself from the inside out but looking at it it appears white and red and does not seem normal. Does this wound look like it is healing or do I need to be closed again?
I had my tummy tuck and breast lift with lipo yesterday... and I have been trying to be extra careful with myself.....but! Every time I cough or laugh a little, it feels as though I am going to rip apart my stomach muscle sutures. Also, I leaned back too far getting back into bed after using the bathroom and it hurt like hell. How easily can they tear and how would I know if they did?
I had a tummy tuck about 16 years ago with excellent results. Last year I tripped and fell very hard flat on my stomach. A couple of months later, I noticed a bulge near my belly button which came out and went back in. I now feel swollen and get that uncomfortable tight, pulling feeling I had immediately after the surgery. Is it possible that I tore the sutures and ruined the surgery? I was checked for a hernia and the Doctor said he doesn't think I have one.
I hear all the type from my doctor, my physical therapist to strengthen my core, but I can't because I can't feel my core working and thought a tummy tuck would help me get my core back and have that strength.
The arm lift revision Left me with a bruised Medial nerve. I have severe pain, numbness, hypersensitive of left hand. My TT has been easy, pain has been minimal. My breasts are another story. I have severe pain in my chest, at sternum and at the top of the implants. Minimal swelling. I hoped by now I would no longer need pain pills and even just using tylenol. After about 12 hours I ended up in tears. I feel like the pain is more in control than I am. Is this level of pain normal 2 weeks post op?
